SAT cram class -Lau

I thought the SAT cram class was good I learned a lot and there was a lot of good tips and information to attack the SAT. I learned how to raise my score on the SAT, and I also learned that repetition is key to do well on the SAT. This was a very good class and he was informative. A lot of info was given in the classes.

Ace SAT -Abate

Marlee was an incredibly knowledgeable teacher. She not only taught us ways to ace SAT Reading and Writing questions, but also enabled us to think like the test makers do in regards to questions being literal, Critical Reading passages being disectable, and many other things. Furthermore, Marlee taught invaluable writing and grammar skills not usually discussed in school.

Changed SAT score -Lu

A class that has changed my SAT score (for better) but also my outlook on many aspects of life. The class is interspersed with it’s fair money’s worth of SAT math as well as life lessons and Buddhist adages.

SAT test -Keane

I really enjoyed and learned a lot from the class. I learned a lot about the SAT test that I did not know before. All the small tips both Matt and Marlee gave me made a world of difference. Both Matt and Marlee were so nice and taught me so much about the SAT and little things in life and for the college application process. Overall the class was great :-)

Good tutor - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Monmouth County

Through WaveLength SAT preparation, I’ve learned a lot. My math tutor, Matt, was a very good tutor. I’ve learned a lot of important material that will be used on the SAT. One major lesson I learned was that no matter how difficult a problem may look, it could be simplified into a much easier problem. I also learned how to look at problems in a different way to get the solution quicker, which is a very important tactic for the SAT. Marlee, my English tutor, was very good as well. She taught us a lot in terms of what is really needed on the SAT. I learned a whole lot of necessary vocabulary, how to write an essay that is quick and to the point, and how to make reading comprehension much more simplified. Marlee and Matt, while teaching a lot, also made their lessons fun. Taking this SAT prep class will help a lot on the test. It’ll change my future!

Vocabulary sections - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep classes - Wall

Verbal -  The skeleton was the best "trick" which I learned. The skeleton helps me to focus on only the main ideas of the passages I also now know to always be literal when selecting my answer choices. Always making sure I am literal, helps me with my Critical Reading and vocabulary sections. Math - I learned to approach the math section by treating it like a Critical Reading section. What helped me the most was writing down the question that was being asked so that I would not answer a different question or not fully answer a question.

Important details -Grant

Reading – has helped me recognize grammatical patterns that allow me to find issues within a sentence. Taught me to read stories much faster and extrapolate the most important details from them. Helped in the orderly structure of my essay as well as the expectation for my essay by the audience. Teacher is very knowledgeable, respectful, and fun. Math – has been extremely useful in terms of speeding up problem time and breaking down the question to simpler terms. Teacher is respectful, knowledgeable, and fun. Has also contributed to my comprehension skills on questions.

SAT text book - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Wall SAT class

Marlee and Matt taught me to dissect and analyze the SAT in the more comprehensible manner. The environment is small and personal, allowing my tutors to cater to the personal needs of each student. I have learned and easy way/strategy to score well on the SAT, by simplifying math and learning the correct SAT text book meaning of words and grammar. Thanks to Marlee and Matt, I was able to tackle the SAT with ease and sufficiency.

Hard test -Devecka

I feel my tutors did an amazing job helping me to understand how to take the SATs and helped me to become more comfortable with my skills and how the SAT isn’t a hard test but I have to make sure I comprehend the questions. They both were extremely nice and helpful throughout these classes. Thank you both for all your help and advice.
