Since his time at CBA, Matthew graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts, and developed his unique approach to problem solving while designing learning analyses and curricula for major test consulting firms. Matthew actively endorses SoulTone Cymbals, and has a new live album on iTunes. He can be seen on his drum kit in his jazz trio, Deftet, in fine establishments throughout the New Jersey Shore or on his surfboard at the beach. After graduating from the Ranney School, Marlee earned her BA in English at Yale University, with a focus on 16th and 17th Century sacred literature. She has run SAT Verbal programs for national and local companies throughout New York and New Jersey, and has taught American Literature at the Delbarton School. Marlee is a member of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee for which she conducts Yale admissions interviews, and also currently serves as the Secretary of the Association of Yale Alumni of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. She has an album on iTunes to show for her years as a professional singer/songwriter.

With over 10 years of experience, Andrea is a senior member of the WaveLength team. After graduating from RBR, Andrea earned a BS in Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University, where she developed a passion for teaching as a tutor for the men’s basketball team. In 2003, fresh from Syracuse, Andrea brought her enthusiasm for teaching to Wavelength. She was an instant favorite with students and maintained her commitment to improving SAT scores even while pursuing a legal career in Pittsburgh for 2 years, where her passion for editing led one judge to nickname her “the beast with the red pen.” Andrea also has experience teaching students with learning disabilities and processing disorders. In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling, big dogs, and college basketball.

After graduating from CBA, Daniel earned a BA from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, double majoring in Journalism/Mass Communications and Sociology/Anthropology. Daniel has also been a magazine editor, a martial artist, and a DJ and currently works in radio and with prominent urban music artists in a number of capacities.

Kathleen Connelly is an alumna of Barnard College, from which she received a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in American literature. After earning her master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, Kathleen worked at secondary schools in New York City and New Jersey, teaching courses in AP Literature, American Literature, and Women’s Literature. Her favorite novel to teach is The Grapes of Wrath. While not working with students, Kathleen enjoys running in local road races, working on her tennis game, and spending time with her family.

Alli has a PhD in Marine Ecology and Ecotoxicology and a BA in Chemistry also from Rutgers University. Alli spent a year in Malaysia researching coral reef biodiversity and the toxicity of oil dispersants, and has also run manta ray telemetry projects in Hawaii and the Gulf of Mexico. She has been a TA for Biology at Rutgers and has, for the past three years, worked on a National Science Foundation fellowship, developing and teaching hands-on science activities for GK-12 classrooms.

Anna Rose Johnson graduated from Tufts University in 2012 with a B.A. in Spanish and Community Health and earned her Master of Public Health degree at Rutgers School of Public Health. Having scored in the 95th percentile on the MCAT examination, she is a medical student at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and pursuing a concurrent PhD in Public Health at Rutgers, a program created for her to pioneer. Anna Rose has taken organic and inorganic chemistry, physics, calculus, and biology at the college level and has scored over 700 on corresponding SAT subject tests. In her free time, she serves as a Spanish/English interpreter at the Chandler Clinic, a free-clinic in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Anna Rose has spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain and frequently travels to Honduras for medical relief projects.

Having graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2013 with a B.A. in History, Tosin is currently pursuing a masters degree in Biomedical Science from the Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. During his undergraduate and post-graduate career he has taken part in several research topics ranging from the molecular biology of drug addiction to the progression of neurodegeneration in Huntington’s disease. During his free time Tosin enjoys working out and growing his extensive music collection.

Kevin, a CBA alumnus, recently graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in both History and English. He has a Masters in History from Rutgers University and has just returned to Georgetown for law school. Kevin has also studied theology and is fluent in German. While at Georgetown, he was a four-year Varsity coxswain for Men’s Lightweight Crew and helped lead the team to national and international success, including a bronze-medal at the Eastern Sprints and victories at the Henley Royal Regatta in England. Kevin has also served as Assistant Coach of CBA Crew and as a sommelier de la bière, where he paired foods with artisanal, craft, and import beers.
