Wavelength really strengthened my quick thinking and logical ways to approach the SAT problems. Matt helped me cut my time for the math sections by writing less, something math teachers would have gasped upon if they had heard this technique. He plays jazz music in the background which soothed me and during the actual SAT I was not as nervous as before. All in all, it was very helpful in my college process.

Matt has been an amazing tutor. He’s given us so many life lessons and me look at the SATs in a new, but better perspective. His techniques have not only been useful in the SATs, but in everyday homework as well. This class has been memorable and something I actually look forward to!

I learned a lot from WaveLength Tutoring's SAT Prep Program. The way Marlee and Matt taught the program was very different from a standard SAT class and told us how the SAT is designed to trick us and how to get the last laugh against it. I thought their method of teaching was very helpful. They gave us many different tips to use to our strength, like getting a question down to two choices or how the answers to word choices go from easiest to hardest and how to use that to our advantage. I thought the program was very informative, and based on the before and after scores proved that their teaching ideas really worked. I would certainly recommend taking their course to anyone looking to learn about the SAT/improve their overall scores.

Marlee was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and informative. I have learned a lot through her guidance. I learned how to structure and write SAT essays, as well as how to prepare support for the essay. In addition, I learned many sat strategies for answering Reading and Writing questions. My vocabulary was greatly expanded, and my knowledge of grammar has grown as well. My Writing score on the SAT went up 80 points after my tutoring! Thank you!! : )

I looked forward to meeting with Matt and Marlee every Tuesday and Thursday. Before learning at the WaveLength prep classes, I was nearly clueless on how to prepare for the SAT. I was only confident in the Math portion of the test, but after these prep classes, I was able to be more and more confident while taking the English section too. There was a significant difference between my practice score before and after the course. I am very appreciative of Matt and Marlee’s help on my biggest test of my life.

I was more than impressed with my experience with WaveLength. My teacher was extremely knowledgable on the subject of the SAT as well as the college admissions process. The class provided me with a methodical process of approaching SAT questions and essays. After I took the class, I felt much more comfortable taking the SAT and saw significant improvement in my scores. Overall, I believe I truly benefited from the WaveLength class.

Wavelength was a great experience. I learned the strategies necessary to succeed and felt myself improving with every class; This ensured that I was always motivated to do the work for the course. The SAT classes themselves were actually quite enjoyable. Marlee is a pleasure to be around and so much can be learned from her, and that isn't limited to SAT information. With her help I achieved an 800 in critical reading! Matt is an awesome teacher who instills confidence in his students. With their help I got a 2200 and into Cornell University!

I could write about my WaveLength experience for hours, days, weeks, and so on. This test prep program opened my eyes to new perspectives on the SAT test. Before starting the 6 week program, I bit my nails if anyone dared to speak about the SATs. Now my mentality has ben altered drastically. I know I am capable of being a beast on test day... thanks to the infamous duo: Matt and Marlee. I cannot thank you enough for enabling me to see how well I will be able to beat this test.
