I looked forward to meeting with Matt and Marlee every Tuesday and Thursday. Before learning at the WaveLength prep classes, I was nearly clueless on how to prepare for the SAT. I was only confident in the Math portion of the test, but after these prep classes, I was able to be more and more confident while taking the English section too. There was a significant difference between my practice score before and after the course. I am very appreciative of Matt and Marlee’s help on my biggest test of my life.

Through out the SAT math course I think I gained a lot knowledge for shortcuts. These overall saved me time to look over answers. Also I was taught other alternatives of how to solve a question quicker that the way I was taught. Overall it was a fun experience and I think it will help me greatly on the SATs that I will take in the future. During the 10-week span of verbal class for the SATs I feel as if my verbal skills have rose greatly. The biggest help for me was definitely the passage part because I am able to get the story without getting bored by reading the whole thing. Another big thing was how to write a good essay in 25 minutes b/c now I know what key things the graders of the essays look for.

My son Scott is taking your Colts Neck High School SAT course. I just wanted to tell you that he is really enjoying it. He loves going, which is amazing because it is after school and you’d think he’d want to be out of there. He especially enjoys the math teacher on Thursdays; he says it’s really great. I just wanted to thank you for bringing your program to our school and giving him this opportunity.

SAT class was very Informative. It helped me on the test strategically. I was my favorite class of the whole school day!!

Matt has been an amazing tutor. He’s given us so many life lessons and me look at the SATs in a new, but better perspective. His techniques have not only been useful in the SATs, but in everyday homework as well. This class has been memorable and something I actually look forward to!

I thought this class was useful to me. I found some of the tips in verbal class were very helpful while I was taking the the practice tests as well as the real test. Overall I took away a lot more knowledge than I had in the beginning. As for the math class, I was a little slow with picking up some of the concepts in the first several classes, however I learned new ways on how to approach various math problems. Overall, I have taken away a lot of information that I had forgotten. Thank you guys very much for helping me prepare for the SAT's. I hope that your business becomes very successful because you deserve every penny you earn.

Dear Marlee and Matt, I am writing to thank you for introducing my son Stefano to Daniel this summer. He spent the entire summer tutoring Stefano for the SAT. He is an amazing person and a real added value to your staff. Daniel really helped Stefano by teaching him the strategies need to succeed and also honed in on his weaknesses to improve those skill gaps identified. While working on his gaps he always highlighted Stefano’s strengths. He encouraged him each week with positive reinforcements and made him feel really good about himself during this very stressful time. He gave him the confidence he needed to go into the SAT test with a can do attitude. Stefano and Daniel worked very closely each week and developed a really strong relationship. Daniel would spend added time after each session and talk to Stefano about his essay for his applications. Daniel’s expert writing ability really provided Stefano with a clear idea as to how to approach the application process regardless of the outcome of the SAT. He continued each week to really get to know my son and understand him in a way that really made a difference. We are happy to say that Stefano did get into his first choice school and will spend his freshman year abroad studying international business and finance. I really believe that Daniel had such a strong impact on Stefano and was part of the successful outcome and words can not thank him enough for all he has done for my son. You and Marlee have very different teaching styles; Marlee is more of Testing Tips, Testing Tips, Testing Tips, and studying, while you are more of STUDY!, STUDY!, STUDY!, testing tips. They are both good methods but as lazy person I got more out of Marlee’s class.

WaveLength was a great prep program. It was hard for me at first and then it started to get easier. Mostly this class taught me to think literally and understand math problems.

With the SAT writing sections, I learned a lot because I even think I've been doing better in my regular writing classes. Today I had an essay in my history class and yesterday I had one in English, and I did better on the two essays than I usually do. As for vocabulary, I know that I have acquired a higher level of vocabulary thanks to the cards and the list of words. I think that the writing and language portion was effective and will DEFINITELY be helping on SATs. Thanks for all of the shorter ways to the math parts of the test. As a whole, I think that I'm prepared to take the test thanks to you two! Thanks for the help!!
