Dear Matt and Marlee, There are no words to thank you enough for everything you’ve done for Billy and for how pleased we were with your services. From the very beginning we could tell we made the right decision when choosing WaveLength as the private SAT tutoring service for our son. With your backgrounds, education, and personal experiences you were both well qualified to instruct Billy in your respective areas of expertise, but it was your personalities that really made the difference. The enthusiasm you brought to our home every week was unbelievable, and the way you both were instantly able to make Billy feel comfortable and unintimidated was amazing. He respected both of you, he listened to both of you, but more importantly, he really liked both of you. He actually looked forward to his tutoring sessions! I definitely thought that this class was worth the time, and the test taking strategies will undoubtedly be a lot of help. I finally found a new way to look at previously impossible SAT math problems and I don’t get caught up in all the crappy details of the verbal passages anymore. Matt and Marlee, you guys are awesome people.

WaveLength helped me improve my test taking skills in both English and Math. Marlee helped me understand a lot in the Reading section. My favorite and most helpful tip I learned is probably the skeleton in the reading section. Matt also helped me a lot with my math section. Matt taught us simple, easy, and fast ways of solving SAT equations. For example, I learned about plugging numbers into equations instead of using letters. With this tip I learned how to finish problems and improve my test scores. I’m glad I did WaveLength and thankful I got to learn what I did.

WaveLength was good. They’ve helped me a lot with different techniques and showed me different ways of doing things that will help a lot in the long run. I can get more ACT questions done because they helped me consume the time better, which has helped a lot.

I feel like my SAT tutor has helped me so much! Even though I missed a couple of classes I still feel like I grasped lots of information and I will apply this when I take the test. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me!

I think WaveLength was a great experience. I look at the SAT’s completely different now. I hope and think my grades will be better. I also have a lot more confidence about taking the test. It helped me feel more relaxed about the whole SAT thing- Overall it was a great positive experience.

When I first began WaveLength, I thought it was really tough. Once I started having weekly SAT classes they facilitated all the problems I was having. Overall, I have learned many things that prepared me for the SATs and many general life lessons as well. I’ll definitely remember some of the life lessons I learned from Matt for my whole life. I also feel like I’m very comfortable with English, but not as much in Math. I learned a lot from both Matt and Marlee and I enjoyed the classes because they made learning entertaining.

I feel that you guys run great classes. You show us that the SAT is not as hard as it seems. I wouldn’t of wanted any other SAT class other then this one. I liked the way Matt would keep everyone involved and come into class with the attitude that he wants to be there and try to get everyone to do better and progress. He and Marlee both shared helpful tips and SAT habits that would help me. I would not have done as well on the test if I did not take this class. I felt that my critical reading and writing scores jumped a lot because of Marlee and I also think that with Matts help I was able to work out some of the kinks in my math sections. He helped motivate me and so did Marlee.

During this class I learned basic skills and shortcuts for the Reading Comprehension and Writing portion of the SAT. I learned the importance of studying vocab, and reading only relevant information. Time is one of my major concerns, but the skills that I have learned in this class have allowed me to optimize the time that I am given during the exam.
