WAVELENGTH TEST PREP SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY
Our mission at WaveLength is to create options for our students: options for college and, ultimately, options for future academic investigation.
Please relate an experience where you have recognized an option you had never before known existed. Your essay should be approximately 500 words.
COLLEGE TIP
Be sure to save your drafts: even this essay might come in handy as a part of your college application essay (or at least the “college essay” assignment your English teacher is sure to require senior year).
At WaveLength tutoring + test prep we bring private tutoring into the classroom with our trademark fresh, effective teaching. Our small, seminar-style SAT Prep courses span 6 weeks and include:
· 30 hours of instruction
· class capped at 10 (minimum 5)
· 2 full-length take-home tests
· convenient location
· 75% off the cost of private
Remember, after your SAT prep with us, transitioning from SAT to ACT is easy with the right advice. Just choose the ACT Addendum, a single session, 3-hr course taught by our ACT Specialist Andrea Goldman. Andrea will cover the Math, Science, and Reading sections of the ACT, showing you how to adapt the WaveLength skills and test-taking techniques you mastered in SAT class to the ACT. We offer an Addendum the Sunday before every ACT.
With submission of the test prep scholarship application, applicant grants WaveLength use of name and essay on wavelengthsat.com for notification of winner. Scholarship recipient will be registered for Fall Session 1 Late. In the event that this class does not meet its minimum enrollment, the recipient’s enrollment will be deferred to the next comparable class that does meet minimum enrollment. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.
