Last year the PTSO wanted to bring an SAT Prep Class to Colts Neck High School. We wanted to offer both the students and the parents the convenience of having an SAT prep class after school. After talking with numerous “big” standardized test prep companies, WaveLength was recommended to me by someone who had used them for private tutoring. I contacted them and was very pleased with what they were offering. We had two sessions last year, winter and spring. We received excellent feedback from both the students and the parents. On behalf of the Colts Neck High School PTSO, I would like to offer you my recommendation for WaveLength SAT Prep Tutoring. Marlee Napurano and Matt Makrinos are professional, reliable and knowledgeable of the new SAT test. They have a way of getting through to the students. We will continue to use WaveLength this year for three sessions: fall, winter and spring. I liked the way Matt would keep everyone involved and come into class with the attitude that he wants to be there and try to get everyone to do better and progress. He and Marlee both shared helpful tips and SAT habits that would help me. I would not have done as well on the test if I did not take this class. I felt that my critical reading and writing scores jumped a lot because of Marlee and I also think that with Matts help I was able to work out some of the kinks in my math. He helped motivate me and so did Marlee.

Wavelength was a great experience. I learned the strategies necessary to succeed and felt myself improving with every class; This ensured that I was always motivated to do the work for the course. The SAT classes themselves were actually quite enjoyable. Marlee is a pleasure to be around and so much can be learned from her, and that isn't limited to SAT information. With her help I achieved an 800 in critical reading! Matt is an awesome teacher who instills confidence in his students. With their help I got a 2200 and into Cornell University!

Wanted to let you know that my son Justin had an excellent experience with both Kevin Francolini and Daniel Sozomenu. Kevin prepped Justin for the US History SAT subject test and Daniel prepped him for the SAT. Justin worked with Daniel over about a 9 month period. Daniel was very accommodating with his schedule, worked effectively with Justin, and we saw a big improvement in Justin's scores. We plan to work with Daniel again for our other children. Thank you.

Hey Matt and Marlee I would just like to say you guys have really helped make more confident in both my math and reading skills and about the SATs in general. I am glad I enrolled in these classes and have definitely improved my real SAT score from my PSAT scores. Thank you again and please, continue to help kids in the future as they will surely need it!

I really enjoyed and learned a lot from the class. I learned a lot about the SAT test that I did not know before. All the small tips both Matt and Marlee gave me made a world of difference. Both Matt and Marlee were so nice and taught me so much about the SAT and little things in life and for the college application process. Overall the class was great :-)

WaveLength tutoring and test prep was beyond amazing. The experience here was very educational and was quite enjoyable at that. Matt and Marlee are profound teachers who teach what is needed and leave out any unnecessary information to help us understand better. I was quite impressed with the skill level each of them have for us. I am very impressed with this class and was happy I was able to enroll.

I think that this class was very helpful. I learned a lot of things that I would not have learned on my own. I feel more confident in my ability to succeed on the SAT. Marlee, I feel that my ability to take the reading and writing sections is better and I'm not as rushed. Matt, I feel confident in my answers as I can prove them and I have time to focus on them. WaveLength is a very good SAT tutoring center. I had two tutors before this and they cannot compare to WaveLength. I took the practice SAT for homework I saw my scores improved dramatically. The way they teach is different and better. The strategies they teach really work and help improve scores. I suggest WaveLength to everyone.

Marlee and Matt have a unique approach to teaching, by taking common SAT errors and tricks and applying them to the questions. I definitely saw my scores get better in such a short amount of time (especially critical reading). They make the test less stressful by teaching a simple way to approach each question. Marlee really helped me improve on my weak areas and get even better at what I was good at. She is incredibly knowledgeable and does a great job conveying a huge knowledge base to us. The Skinny helps immensely, and I learned a lot from both classes.
