MCVSD high school - Marriott
Having worked with WaveLength for the past six months in their six week tutoring class and in private lessons, I can say that WaveLength completely changed my perspective on standardized testing and the college application process. Though I attend a very vigorous MCVSD high school, my scores at the time did not reflect the hard work I put into my schoolwork.
Daniel changed my entire mindset for the verbal section of the exam. Before my tutoring with Daniel, I felt hopeless with my score in that section and feared that I would not be able to improve. In just a couple months of tutoring, my score rose in the verbal section 80 points. Now, I have more confidence when taking the exam and feel that I have a “game plan” going into every verbal section.
Prior to my tutoring with Matt, if someone told me the score that I had just received on my math section of the exam I probably would have laughed. Matt’s tutoring not only changed my entire approach to taking ANY test, but motivated me to be confident in my skills and to trust the process. After my tutoring with Matt, my confidence not only rose for the SAT, but in other areas in my life. I cannot thank him enough for motivating me continuously, never doubting my abilities, and for always believing in me.
The numbers can speak for themselves. From the beginning of my journey with WaveLength till now my SAT score has increased 250 points from my sophomore PSAT and it is not stopping there. I cannot thank Matt and Daniel enough for their help, and will always recommend WaveLength to anyone who is motivated and willing to work hard to achieve their dream score.

Truly beneficial - O'Hare
Although this class was a lot of work, it was truly beneficial. I saw my math score go up a lot. English has always been hard for me, and Marlee’s methods really helped me understand the passages better and get more questions right. This class really helped prepare me for the SAT.
Gaps - Servilla
WaveLength not only helped improve my score is by filling in the gaps that the school system neglected, but WaveLength also taught me valuable life lessons that I wouldn’t have learned to elsewhere.
December 2019 update: If you want to see results, go to WaveLength. Not only did I see significant improvements in my scores, but I also looked forward to class every single week. After every class, I left motivated to improve and with pointers on what to work on. This course really helped my confidence in taking any test and left me with lessons I will remember forever. Without WaveLength, my scores simply would not have been possible. Thanks guys.
Moments - Lowe
WaveLength was very helpful. I’m glad my dad found this class. I learned more here than studying on my own and there were many moments where I thought “why didn’t I realize that?" Nice!

The class taught me many skills and test strategies that will really help me on the SAT. It also prepared me much better than I would have been able to by myself. My Reading and Grammar scores increased the most on the skeleton really helped me. The Barron's questions help me review and remember all the math I needed to know for the exam. Also, the triangle equations and other math skills I learned such as the prove my work with substitution for terms will really help me score on the math. To whom it may concern,
I am going to be frank with you, WaveLength has changed my life. It’s not that they somehow made me smarter, Matt and Marlee simply helped me recognize my full potential; and I know, for a fact, that they can do the same for you. The tutors at WaveLength approach their job with a passion and a dedication that you could never imagine; they aim to not only have their students succeed on the SAT but to prosper in all aspects of their academia. Their methods have increased my SAT score by over 300 points and gave me the confidence to not just get above a 700 on every section but to expect an 800.
The tutors work one-on-one with their pupils to help them understand both their strengths and weaknesses, and they teach them how to capitalize on both. With conviction, I can say that Marlee and Matt knew me as well as I do by the end of our weeks together. Every tutor will become a teacher, a friend, and a role model for their students; and they will see them succeed. They will expect more out of you than you ever deemed possible and you will find, with a little bit of work, that the impossible has in fact always been possible.
This is no gimmick. My name is Taylor Rogers and I am a high school senior. Next year, I will be attending Yale University on a full NROTC scholarship. With the help of the tutors at WaveLength I was able to beat the SAT and to submit a college application not to be reckoned with. I still wake up every morning and pinch myself because I am living my dream, and I know that you can be living yours. I leave you with every conceivable recommendation to work with WaveLength, it is worth every single cent and so much more.
Sincerely,
Test prep program Monmouth County -WaveLength tutoring + test prep
I could write about my WaveLength experience for hours, days, weeks, and so on. This test prep program opened my eyes to new perspectives on the SAT test. Before starting the 6 week program, I bit my nails if anyone dared to speak about the SATs. Now my mentality has ben altered drastically. I know I am capable of being a beast on test day... thanks to the infamous duo: Matt and Marlee. I cannot thank them enough for enabling me to see how well I will be able to beat this test.
Mathematics section - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Neptune
My experience with WaveLength SAT Tutoring was very worthwhile. I chose to get help from Matt with the mathematics section of the SAT and saw a significant improvement in my score. With his help, I was able to raise my score from a 660 to a 760. He taught me how to look at problems differently and how to pull the necessary information from the clutter.
I find that this skill he helped me develop has was useful on the test, but is also relevant in all facets of life. One special thing about my experience with WaveLength is that I genuinely looked forward to the sessions. It was not a chore to study, it was an opportunity to relax and discuss problem-solving.
With Matt's help, I was accepted to all of the schools to which I applied: The United States Naval Academy, The United States Coast Guard Academy, The Merchant Marine Academy, The University of Pennsylvania, Villanova, and Rutgers.
Grammatical errors - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Marlboro
Although I expected to learn more about how to write the essay, I learned more about how to identify grammatical errors and to respond to reading comprehension questions with the maximum amount of accuracy. I was able to review concepts that I already knew in preparation for the SAT. I also felt that I learned a lot of things that I did not already know, as well.
MCVSD entrance exam -WaveLength MCVSD tutoring + test prep classes
Daniel was my daughter's tutor for the Monmouth County Vocational School District MCVSD entrance exam. Her goal was to attend Biotechnology High School and we wanted her to have some preparation before she took the exam. All in all, it was money very well spent - not only did my daughter score very well on the exam, she went into it with a plan and new found confidence.
Daniel's knowledge of the test was comprehensive. His style is relaxed and confident. He pinpoints the gaps in a student’s knowledge without harm and highlights their best attributes in order to build self-assurance. I highly recommend Daniel and look forward to working with him in the future, as my son wants to join his sister at Biotech.
