TESTIMONIALS

The success of our Academy of Allied Health & Science and Monmouth County Vocational School District (MCVSD) admissions test prep classes and private tutoring business is built on our success with every single student we teach and our record of MCVSD magnet school admissions. This is what some of our Academy of Allied Health & Science students and MCVSD parents through out Monmouth County had to say about WaveLength tutoring and test prep:

More questions right - O'Hare

Although this class was a lot of work, it was truly beneficial. I saw my math score go up a lot. English has always been hard for me, and Marlee’s methods really helped me understand the passages better and get more questions right. This class really helped prepare me for the SAT.

School system - Servilla

WaveLength not only helped improve my score is by filling in the gaps that the school system neglected, but WaveLength also taught me valuable life lessons that I wouldn’t have learned to elsewhere.

December 2019 update: If you want to see results, go to WaveLength. Not only did I see significant improvements in my scores, but I also looked forward to class every single week. After every class, I left motivated to improve and with pointers on what to work on. This course really helped my confidence in taking any test and left me with lessons I will remember forever. Without WaveLength, my scores simply would not have been possible. Thanks guys.

Skills test taking - WaveLength tutoring + test prep - Ocean Township

The class taught me many skills and test strategies that will really help me on the SAT. It also prepared me much better than I would have been able to by myself. My Reading and Grammar scores increased the most on the skeleton really helped me. The Barron's questions help me review and remember all the math I needed to know for the exam. Also, the triangle equations and other math skills I learned such as the prove my work with substitution for terms will really help me score on the math. I feel that this class really helped me and really prepared me as much as possible for the SAT. Thanks,

SAT test prep - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Ocean Township

Wavelength tutoring goes above and beyond what typical SAT test prep companies teach and instills lessons and thoughts that can be applied beyond the testing center. Last year I managed to help a scientist crystallize a mitochondrial protein complex known as MTERF4-NSUN4, which plays a role in ribosome biogenesis in the mitochondria. This work led to a publication in the scientific journal Structure, in which I was named a co-author on the paper. When college decisions came back, my parents and I were ecstatic. I was accepted into Rutgers UniversityBoston CollegeEmory UniversityUniversity of VirginiaWilliams CollegeNorthwestern UniversityJohns Hopkins UniversityDuke UniversityBrown UniversityColumbia University, and Yale University. Matt and Marlee taught me more than just how to take a test. They taught me how to approach a problem from different angles, and how to use a variety of different techniques and ideas to solve it. The value of this approach cannot be measured. Sometimes the answer to a question is not found within a textbook, but is built through the use of a thousand different ideas that are used in combination with one another to create a unique and powerful solution.

Evaluation - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Wall Township NJ

My name is Brian Scott and my Daughter Olivia worked with Daniel in late 2015 early 2016 for SAT prep. While we only had 2 sessions, one each in front of the Dec and Feb tests, the impact was substantial. Olivia is high performing and Daniel was quick to evaluate just where she needed guidance, mostly around strategy but also with some specific targeted practice and tips in Math and Writing. Livi earned a 2100 on the first try and jumped to 2300 on the second. I'm sure much of that jump was due to Daniels evaluation of her results and guidance on adjustments. It's refreshing to see someone who is so dedicated to evaluating and guiding each student based on their individual needs strengths and weaknesses, and does not just apply a cookie cutter one size fits all approach. Daniel's knowledge of the college admission process and how schools evaluate results was an added bonus. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and we will be sure to recommend him to friends and use him again when it's our sons turn to take the tests. Thank you for your service and dedicated staff and please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely,
Brian D. Scott , MCVSD, Academy of Allied Health & Science 2017 , Wall Township, Monmouth County, NJ 07719

RE: WAVELENGTH TUTORING AND TEST PREP, L.L.C. I have known Matthew Makrinos and Marlee Napurano for over three years and have found their scholastic aptitude, teaching skills and acumen with the regards to the evaluation and management of the deficiency of students' educational background and the rectification of the same beyond reproach. I wholeheartedly support their technique and strategies and believe that any student under their tutelage is bound to be successful with regards to academic pursuits.
