The success of our Monmouth County ACT, SAT, and SSAT test prep classes and AP subject private tutoring and college admissions consulting business is built on our success with every single student we teach and our record of choice college admissions. So we encourage you to ask around Monmouth County about WaveLength tutoring and test prep- this is some of what you’ll hear:
I like how from day one the space is established as a relaxing environment. Usually when thinking about SATs and SAT classes, stress is associated but that is not the case here. Marlee- class is great. I was very scared about my reading score, but it increased a lot. I always have fun in class and never found myself bored. Matt- I like how we don’t only talk about math, we talk about how we can apply what we are learning here and apply it to life. The homework load is manageable and even though I’m not a math person, I can tell I am getting a lot better.
I really loved the class. I learned so much. My teachers really got to know how I learned and I appreciated that because it helped me along the way with my personal way of taking my test. These classes even opened up my eyes to the way I process things. I am very grateful I was able to take this class because what I learned will be used in the future for me. Also thank you for being so nice and cool!!
I learned a lot not only about the SAT and test taking skills, but how to use those skills, and translate them into being successful in real life. Loved that I learned more about strategies, than the actual content.
Not only did my private math sessions with Matt help me to gain 160 points on the SAT, but it also widened my variety and level of colleges to chose from. I am a good student, but my SAT scores were not reflecting that. Matt worked with me on how to approach the test and understand its tricks. He knows how the test-makers think, how they want you to think, and how you need to think to beat them. Aside from mastering math, Matt also taught me how to have the perfect, confident mentality. I felt more confident walking into the SAT than any other test. What I took away the most from my sessions with Matt were these lessons on mindset and mental toughness. I genuinely believe that was the difference that boosted my score. My score in the reading section also increased, and I fully credit this new mindset. Even if I did not receive the scores I wanted, I would still be happy with my time spent with Matt. He gave me confidence, inspiration, and problem solving skills that I not only saw on the SAT, but continue to see in everyday life. I do not believe that I would have achieved the scores or acceptance letters I did without the help of Matt.
