The success of our Monmouth County ACT, SAT, and SSAT test prep classes and AP subject private tutoring and college admissions consulting business is built on our success with every single student we teach and our record of choice college admissions. So we encourage you to ask around Monmouth County about WaveLength tutoring and test prep- this is some of what you’ll hear:
I attended WaveLength after getting stuck at a score of 1320 on two consecutive PSATs, and after a several week course my tutors Matt and Marlee were able to help me get my score up to a 1510. My two tutors were incredibly helpful and offered some much needed insight - they were thorough in their explanations and willing to help everyone in the class with their own individual needs. I’m incredibly grateful for my time with Matt and Marlee and the impact they had on my score.
We had initially signed our son up for the group classes, but due to medical issues we had to withdraw. WaveLength was kind enough to roll over our tuition to in home private lessons.
Andrea came weekly over just a few months and despite my son not doing much between lessons (not too motivated with homework), he was able to raise his scores considerably and even score in the 99th percentile in verbal! We are very happy with WaveLength and Andrea!!! Thanks for making the process easy.
Susan and all.
Having worked with WaveLength for the past six months in their six week tutoring class and in private lessons, I can say that WaveLength completely changed my perspective on standardized testing and the college application process. Though I attend a very vigorous MCVSD high school, my scores at the time did not reflect the hard work I put into my schoolwork.
Daniel changed my entire mindset for the verbal section of the exam. Before my tutoring with Daniel, I felt hopeless with my score in that section and feared that I would not be able to improve. In just a couple months of tutoring, my score rose in the verbal section 80 points. Now, I have more confidence when taking the exam and feel that I have a “game plan” going into every verbal section.
Prior to my tutoring with Matt, if someone told me the score that I had just received on my math section of the exam I probably would have laughed. Matt’s tutoring not only changed my entire approach to taking ANY test, but motivated me to be confident in my skills and to trust the process. After my tutoring with Matt, my confidence not only rose for the SAT, but in other areas in my life. I cannot thank him enough for motivating me continuously, never doubting my abilities, and for always believing in me.
The numbers can speak for themselves. From the beginning of my journey with WaveLength till now my SAT score has increased 250 points from my sophomore PSAT and it is not stopping there. I cannot thank Matt and Daniel enough for their help, and will always recommend WaveLength to anyone who is motivated and willing to work hard to achieve their dream score.
We are very happy with WaveLength. Matt was great at giving us an overview and setting everything up with Daniel for a private MCVSD test prep session with my daughter. Daniel was great at giving her solid test taking strategies and boosting her confidence.
I thought the class was extremely helpful. Being in the class setting made it a comfortable environment to ask questions and learn. Both Marlee and Matt were open to any questions, no matter how dumb. The practice tests and review sessions were extremely helpful. The unique tricks I was taught have helped improve my score at a much faster rate than my friends with other tutors. All in all, great class that I would recommend. I hope I get a 1600! (Joking, probably not happening)
This class the second time around was just as good and I learned just as much throughout the last six weeks. Matt and Marlee teach a unique way of taking the SAT and it is very effective. I went up to 110 points from my first test and feel confident that I will continue to go up.
I thought that the class opened my eyes about how the SAT was mostly about strategy. I think that Marlee and Matt were both amazing on how they taught the class and work able to engage everyone. Both teachers were very interesting. The advice and tools given to me were very helpful and made me confident in my work. The Skinny was very smart and the Barron's book I thought was helpful.
WaveLength is chill. I learned stuff I didn’t know existed and strategies that improved my scores, as well as my regular math and English abilities. 100% effective and cool classes. The way you learn to work will bleed into other parts of life and school and make it easier to deal with.
I feel that the class has helped me to move farther onto a path leading to a high SAT score. The score from my PSAT had me feeling like I was doomed, but after taking this class I feel prepared and ready to kill my SATs. My PSAT score was 1000 and my practice test currently are showing around 1300. The math strategy is extremely helpful, and the verbal tips are also very helpful. Hopefully I will be able to prove myself.
Overall I thought the class was extremely helpful and it drastically brought up my scores. I feel that working in a small group is very helpful because there is more attention and help with each student. I also found it helpful that we went over all the questions we got wrong on the practice tests so that we know what to do when we see a similar problem. I feel that the class is definitely worth the money because of all the help and you can tell that both teachers genuinely care about our scores and our futures and that is a very important quality for a teacher in my opinion.
