Improve writing - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Marlboro, NJ

I only took the English half of the course, so I missed out on Matt's math teaching. However, I really enjoyed Marlee's class, the inter-activity, and overall helpfulness of the course. I really needed to improve my writing and reading scores, and the tips and tricks Marlee taught we're very interesting and helpful. Also, I was really reluctant to sign up for the class as it was a far commute and a lot of hours to be spending on just a test score. However, straight after the first week, I saw that the techniques were really important, and the class was actually fun. The way Marlee talked with some humor and excitement was really enjoyable and kept me wanting to learn more. I really like the class and feel like I really have improved.

Marlboro ACT prep tutoring -Fett

I believe that the tutoring helped me in many ways. Without Andrea’s help, I would have been lost come test day. I have improved greatly and appreciate everything she has done!

Marlboro ACT class - WaveLength ACT tutoring + test prep classes

My time at WaveLength was very beneficial. When researching for ACT classes, I found that WaveLength provided me with the best chance to achieve the scores I desired on the ACT exam. Andrea was a fantastic teacher. She taught me everything I needed to know. I have made immense improvements in every subject. Thanks Andrea. Class was very enjoyable and efficient. I looked forward to coming to class every week to learn something new. WaveLength is the place to learn everything you need to know about the ACT exam. For example in my first to practice ACT exams, I scored a 27 and a 31. I was ecstatic when I scored my exams. Andrea helped me along the way and was a great source of motivation. Wavelength is awesome.

Great test prep program -Mostafa

WaveLength was a great test prep program. It was hard for me at first and then it started to get easier. Mostly this class taught me to think literally and understand math problems.

Studying SAT -Shorr

During this class I learned basic skills and shortcuts for the Reading Comprehension and Writing portion of the SAT. I learned the importance of studying SAT vocab, and reading only relevant information. Time is one of my major concerns, but the skills that I have learned in this class have allowed me to optimize the time that I am given during the exam.

Marlboro college counselor -Brodsky

Hey Matt! You told me to email you when I got my SAT's back! SOOOOOOOO here they are. I got a 1500 and a 2160...so its a 790 in critical reading, 710 in math, and 660 in writing, which is pretty horrible about the writing but i'm over it. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! This could legit be the best day of my whole life; I am never taking them again! but my mom actually wants me to take them again because my college counselor said that they're not good enough to get into Columbia, so I was going to ask your opinion?? Thanks!! and THANKS again!

Life lessons -Lu

A class that has changed my SAT score (for better) but also my outlook on many aspects of life. The class is interspersed with it’s fair money’s worth of SAT math as well as life lessons and Buddhist adages.

Solving equations -Ebrahem

WaveLength helped me improve my test taking skills in both English and Math. Marlee helped me understand a lot in the Reading section. My favorite and most helpful tip I learned is probably the skeleton in the reading section. Matt also helped me a lot with my math section. Matt taught us simple, easy, and fast ways of solving equations. For example, I learned about plugging numbers into equations instead of using letters. With this tip I learned how to finish problems and improve my test scores. I’m glad I did WaveLength and thankful I got to learn what I did.

Amazing job -Devecka

I feel my tutors did an amazing job helping me to understand how to take the SATs and helped me to become more comfortable with my skills and how the SAT isn’t a hard test but I have to make sure I comprehend the questions. They both were extremely nice and helpful throughout these classes. Thank you both for all your help and advice.

Testing process -Covino

I am writing to extol the virtues of this wonderful team of SAT instructors! My son is currently a junior at Colts Neck High School and has in the past been very anxious and avoidant about any standardized test. Although he is a straight A student, he has historically been a bad tester. What this prep course has done, at the very least is demystified the whole standardized testing process for him. Additionally, he reported to me that he "loved this course better than any high school class" he's taken. Matt and Marlee have made otherwise "dry and boring" material both interesting and stimulating for my son. He actually looked forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays ! I recommend Wavelength to everyone and plan on having my younger child take it, as well! Thanks for everything,
