Hey Matt, it's Katharine from the sat class that just wrapped. I just needed to say thanks again because I cannot express how much this class changed my mindset on the SAT and just high school in general. I've finally realized that I have the potential with more practice to kill this test which I would not have realized with out this class. Thanks again, I'll definitely be in touch for the November test with Barron's stuff! Update: 3/24/18 Having worked with WaveLength for the past six months in their six week tutoring class and in private lessons, I can say that WaveLength completely changed my perspective on standardized testing and the college application process. Though I attend a very vigorous MCVSD highschool, my scores at the time did not reflect the hard work I put into my schoolwork. Daniel changed my entire mindset for the verbal section of the exam. Before my tutoring with Daniel, I felt hopeless with my score in that section and feared that I would not be able to improve. In just a couple months of tutoring, my score rose in the verbal section 80 points. Now, I have more confidence when taking the exam and feel that I have a “game plan” going into every verbal section. Prior to my tutoring with Matt, if someone told me the score that I had just received on my math section of the exam I probably would have laughed. Matt’s tutoring not only changed my entire approach to taking ANY test, but motivated me to be confident in my skills and to trust the process. After my tutoring with Matt, my confidence not only rose for the SAT, but in other areas in my life. I cannot thank him enough for motivating me continuously, never doubting my abilities, and for always believing in me. The numbers can speak for themselves. From the beginning of my journey with WaveLength till now my SAT score has increased 250 points from my sophomore PSAT and it is not stopping there. I really enjoyed this SAT prep class. I've taken one before and this was nothing like it. Marlee made it fun and not boring. I also saw an improvement in my practice test and actually feels if I learned a lot, and that I am prepared for the SAT.

I had so much fun during this course and really understood Matt and Marlee's strategies. WaveLength taught me not to fear the SAT, but to laugh at it and to feed it!! I feel like I really improved in both English and Math!

When I started at WaveLength, I wasn't very thrilled. Learning the strategies and the ins and outs of a test isn't fun and not something I look forward to every week, twice a week. Each class got better by the week. Overall, the verbal days were harder for me the math, but I've noticed a major difference in how I've taken the practice test. Both Marlee and Matt never sugarcoated anything. It was all raw, honest, and straight forward, which I liked a lot. Without WaveLength tutoring I wouldn't have seen the changes in results I've seen in my work ethic, scores, and time management of the test.

Classes at WaveLength have successfully prepared me for my upcoming ACT. Andrea has helped me where I needed it in all four ACT subjects. My Writing practice test scores have increased each time. Learning strategies were very helpful and I didn't realize how much my scores would raise when I used them. Following Andrea's steps has been very beneficial. Going to WaveLength was a great decision.

This class was great! Andrea helps me so much! I learned so many strategies. I learned how to establish beneficial habits for English, Math, Reading, and Science. I feel so prepared for the ACT! Andrea made class enjoyable. I improved 3 points in 6 weeks. I thought the ACT would be difficult, but I realized with the right message it isn't! I'm excited for the ACT!
