Always learning - Groschel
The SAT cram class helped a lot. I learned many new tricks for the SAT. I increased my math and English scores. The way things were explained were very well, good, detailed, and helped me understand. I was awake and felt I was always learning.
Understandable, easier - Santos
I think that the class was very informative and changed the way I think. Coming into the class, I was really discouraged by my previous SAT score and after the six weeks, I feel better and more prepared. Marlee was able to explain the English section in a way that made it more understandable, easier, and less daunting. In math class, I was able to understand how to manage the clock while also learning easier and quicker ways of doing things. Overall, my understanding about the SAT, and life, has expanded and I will forever be grateful.
Constructive criticism - Crepaldi
I thought this class was a great way to prep for the SAT. Before coming into this class I did not know anything about the SAT but now I know what it takes to get a great score on the SAT. I also liked how Matt and Marlee kept it real in class saying, that we were terrible test-takers but we will get better over time. Constructive criticism is the best criticism!
New ways - Reynolds
I learned of new methods and new ways to think. I learned what I need to practice to get a better score. I also had a lot of fun.
Works well - Slobiski
I thought this class was extremely helpful. The strategies given works well for me and made the practice tests easier for me and hopefully the SAT will go easier to. :-) I learned a lot and it’s giving me more confidence for the actual test. It’s helpful that the class isn’t easy.
Upfront - Becker
Personally, a class just about math and English was made into a fun and resourceful class. Lots of things made this class go faster than my 1h 10min math class. From the collaborative work to the upfront and realistic topics of conversation during a class. Not so much a class on tricks on the SAT but tricks on your future as a person.
Achievable - Brick SAT prep classes - WaveLength tutoring + test prep
Personally, I thought this SAT class was very helpful. I struggled in the reading section a lot of the PSAT and I learned a lot of things I would’ve never thought of myself. I knew I was a fairly smart kid in school, but the SAT from what I’ve heard is a completely different animal. This class really helped me dissect the test down to the bare bones and go from there. 1400 has always been the goal and I really think it’s achievable at this point in the game. Thanks a lot for the help!
Expand - Brick SAT prep classes - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep
This class has really helped me expand my skills in math and in English. I feel that because of this class I’ve gained more knowledge on how to succeed when taking this SAT test and how to use my skills to my fullest potential. I feel that I have really expanded and gained knowledge in both math and English. I feel that Matt has really helped me expand in math, which is a subject I really struggle with. I also feel that Marlee has helped shape me into a better test taker and reader. I feel that my time at WaveLength has made me grow.
Easier SAT prep - Ahmad
I thought the class was helpful. I learned how we should take the SATs. At times it went a little bit fast, but I got it in the end. The class got a little easier as time went on. The work got harder, but felt easier. The Skinny was helpful with the homework. The homework wasn’t as bad to do as the first class. The only time it was a little hard was when we did some problems on the board. I felt like it was just going to fast for me to keep up with. Other than that I thought it was good.
8/13/19 Update (Second time in class)
This class has taught me so much more than how to get better scores on the SAT. Well my scores have improved tremendously, I’ve learned a lot about how to look at the exam and other things in life. My scores shut up along with my knowledge of myself and how I work. I learned that I am capable of doing something I hate and I can actually do well at it if I try hard enough. Thank you Marley and Matt for giving me a better learning experience in these past few years in my 16 years at Ranney :-) Fatima Ahmad
Passage - Brick Township SAT prep - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep
After taking this class for six weeks, I feel as though I got a lot out of it. Regarding the English parts, I feel like I’ve definitely learned how to read passages quicker well being able to better understand the main points of the passage/the skeleton. I also found that the technique where you read the quotes for the two part questions first, then go back and answer the first question, helpful as well.
Regarding the math section of this class-while it wasn’t at all like I expected it to be, it definitely helped out as well. I think in general doing the problems and parents helped significantly. I also liked how, on every Thursday, Matt would go over problems that we needed help with, as though we weren’t sitting and being taught a lesson per se, we learned how to do certain problems better. Like in the English parts, Matt also taught us techniques for getting through certain types of problems, which I found helped.
Overall, I feel I got a lot out of this class and hopefully I will be able to apply all I learned there on the test itself.

Grammar - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Brick Township NJ
I was happy that I understood what I learned. I learned a lot things. I learned anologies, sentence completions, and grammar. I learned new words starting with "A"! The lunch was my favorite part. Andrea never closed the windows and I got cold. The pizza was always on time.
Brick SAT tutoring - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Ocean County
WaveLength has been fun. Marlee and Matt have taught me new tactics I have not learned before in previous SAT tutoring. Marlee has taught me to hold myself back from jumping into the test. To sit back and be the test maker. Matt has also taught me this. I have to think like the test maker, and laugh in their faces knowing I know what they are doing to me psychologically. Both are excellent, fun, energetic teachers, and I enjoyed learning from them.
December SAT prep classes NJ -Palmer
The class was very helpful! After taking the November SAT with barely any experience with the test and then taking the December SAT with more tactics and information on taking the test, I felt a lot better with how I did. I'm taking the January SAT and plan to take full advantage of what I've learned throughout the class.
Thank you!!
