Middletown SAT prep - WaveLength tutoring + test prep - Middletown NJ

Math – has been extremely useful in terms of speeding up problem time and breaking down the question to simpler terms. Teacher is respectful, knowledgeable, and fun. Has also contributed to my comprehension skills on questions. Reading – has helped me recognize grammatical patterns that allow me to find issues within a sentence. Taught me to read stories much faster and extrapolate the most important details from them. Helped in the orderly structure of my essay as well as the expectation for my essay by the audience. Teacher is very knowledgeable respectful and fun.

Critical Reading Section - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep classes

Math - I learned to approach the math section by treating it like a Critical Reading section. What helped me the most was writing down the question that was being asked so that I would not answer a different question or not fully answer a question. Verbal – the skeleton was the best "trick" which I learned. The skeleton helps me to focus on only the main ideas of the passages I also now know to always be literal when selecting my answer choices. Always making sure I am literal helps me with my Critical Reading and vocabulary sections.

College application process - WaveLength tutoring + test prep - Ocean NJ

As parents we want the best for our children and agonize over decisions that impact their education and shape their future. The college application process is the pinnacle of parental and student angst. But what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be and can actually be stress free and enjoyable for you and your child? Or that the SAT’s and other standardized testing can be mastered and your student will come to view these tests as a competition between themselves and the test makers? Sounds crazy, right? Well it’s not. I can honestly say through personal experience with my son and his friends that it is all possible with the help and guidance of WaveLength tutoring. WaveLength tutors are professional, reliable, knowledgeable and extremely dedicated to the success of your child. The instructors got to know each students strengths and weaknesses through laid back conversations which enabled them to customize their individual programs. The tutor’s enthusiasm for the material made each session interesting and stimulating and left the students wanting for more. I was most impressed by their encouragement to the students to expand their preconceived notions of themselves and their abilities. It gave each of them the confidence to do extremely well on the standardized testing and to also reevaluate their college application choices to include their dream schools as attainable goals. I wholeheartedly support and recommend Wavelength’s techniques, strategies and approach to the SAT’s and college application process. The company and instructors far exceeded all my expectations. I truly believe that if your student puts in the work that Wavelength’s program requires then they will be successful in their academic pursuits. My son and his friends are living proof and were all accepted to their number one school choices. As for my son, I am proud to say he was accepted early action to Yale College. He was also the recipient of an academic ROTC scholarship from the US Navy which provides 4 years full tuition and enables him to graduate Yale as an officer in the US Navy. I am eternally grateful for the guidance and support that Wavelength provided during my son’s journey in accomplishing his academic goals and dreams. Sincerely,

SAT Math score - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Ocean Township

I had a wonderful experience with WaveLength. The SAT Math class was very one-on-one, and I learned how to think about the SAT in a way I could not have learned through a book alone. Matt was extremely knowledgeable about the SAT and was a great teacher overall. The class was challenging in that we were always expected to perform at our best, but Matt’s high expectations of us were what made me improve so much. My first SAT Math score from after the class was a 720. I finished with an 800! I would definitely recommend WaveLength tutoring to anyone looking to learn how to not just gain points, but how to really know the SAT and how to be prepared for every question on the test.

Math and Verbal - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Long Branch

Math- I liked the class a lot. Matt was a very good teacher and he always kept the class interesting. My math scores definitely improved a great amount after the second SAT, and I look forward to taking the test my junior and senior years. Verbal – this class was very good as well. Marlee is down to earth and really knows how to point out the critical things about the SAT itself I will miss both classes as both of them have taught me in valuable information that will definitely help me in the future.

Class environment - WaveLength SAT tutoring + test prep - Marlboro

Really eye-opening. I learned a lot of stuff that I think will help me while taking the SAT. The class was not what I expected, but that's good. I thought it would be like Kumon or something like that. I enjoyed the class environment and you guys are really cool and chill. I like all of the techniques that you taught us. I now feel a lot more confident about taking the test. I like the classroom and the whole atmosphere it creates.

Information SAT prep Neptune - WaveLength tutoring + test prep - Neptune

My experience with WaveLength SAT Tutoring was very worthwhile. I chose to get help from Matt with the mathematics section of the SAT and saw a significant improvement in my score. With his help, I was able to raise my score from a 660 to a 760. He taught me how to look at problems differently and how to pull the necessary information from the clutter. I find that this skill he helped me develop has was useful on the test, but is also relevant in all facets of life. One special thing about my experience with WaveLength is that I genuinely looked forward to the sessions. It was not a chore to study, it was an opportunity to relax and discuss problem-solving. With Matt's help, I was accepted to all of the schools to which I applied: The United States Naval Academy, The United States Coast Guard Academy, The Merchant Marine Academy, The University of PennsylvaniaVillanova, and Rutgers.

Tutors work -Rogers

To whom it may concern, I am going to be frank with you, WaveLength has changed my life. It’s not that they somehow made me smarter, Matt and Marlee simply helped me recognize my full potential; and I know, for a fact, that they can do the same for you. The tutors at WaveLength approach their job with a passion and a dedication that you could never imagine; they aim to not only have their students succeed on the SAT but to prosper in all aspects of their academia. Their methods have increased my SAT score by over 300 points and gave me the confidence to not just get above a 700 on every section but to expect an 800. The tutors work one-on-one with their pupils to help them understand both their strengths and weaknesses, and they teach them how to capitalize on both. With conviction, I can say that Marlee and Matt knew me as well as I do by the end of our weeks together. Every tutor will become a teacher, a friend, and a role model for their students; and they will see them succeed. They will expect more out of you than you ever deemed possible and you will find, with a little bit of work, that the impossible has in fact always been possible. This is no gimmick. My name is Taylor Rogers and I am a high school senior. Next year, I will be attending Yale University on a full NROTC scholarship. With the help of the tutors at WaveLength I was able to beat the SAT and to submit a college application not to be reckoned with. I still wake up every morning and pinch myself because I am living my dream, and I know that you can be living yours. I leave you with every conceivable recommendation to work with WaveLength, it is worth every single cent and so much more. Sincerely,
Taylor Rogers , MCVSD, Marine Academy of Science and Technology, MAST 2013, Yale College 2017 , Wayside, Ocean Township, Monmouth County, NJ 07712
