To be honest, this review is long overdue as I am a senior in college. But looking back on it, I really should write one as WaveLength SAT prep played an integral role in getting me where I am today. Matt and Marlee helped me improve my SAT score from 1860 to 2130 super score (770 Math, 700 Writing, and 660 Reading) and helped me get into Boston College. Matt and Marlee were both thorough, challenging, and made SAT prep engaging. I looked forward to meeting up with Marlee and Matt as they not only changed my perspective at approaching the SAT, but the way I think. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Having worked with WaveLength for the past six months in their six week tutoring class and in private lessons, I can say that WaveLength completely changed my perspective on standardized testing and the college application process. Though I attend a very vigorous MCVSD high school, my scores at the time did not reflect the hard work I put into my schoolwork. 

Daniel changed my entire mindset for the verbal section of the exam. Before my tutoring with Daniel, I felt hopeless with my score in that section and feared that I would not be able to improve. In just a couple months of tutoring, my score rose in the verbal section 80 points. Now, I have more confidence when taking the exam and feel that I have a “game plan” going into every verbal section. 

Prior to my tutoring with Matt, if someone told me the score that I had just received on my math section of the exam I probably would have laughed. Matt’s tutoring not only changed my entire approach to taking ANY test, but motivated me to be confident in my skills and to trust the process. After my tutoring with Matt, my confidence not only rose for the SAT, but in other areas in my life. Matt and Marlee are two of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Not only do they know what they are talking about, but they conveyed that information to me in a way that was easy to understand. Marlee and Matt are magical people. I have never had teachers that are so connecting and fun to learn with. If I had the chance, I would absolutely take it again. People who take it will not be disappointed with their decision. I just want to take this time to personally thank you. Like I said before...I've never had such connecting mentors. If you told me that I would improve over 100 points on my math SAT...I probably would've laughed. But it happened. And I cannot thank you enough for you assistance. Loved this class! Matt and Marlee make a good team because their skills contrast each other. I've had faith in this class from day one and I wasn't disappointed. I've learned a lot not only about the SAT but life lessons from Matt. There's a lot of work involved in the Math section, but well worth it. My second time taking this class, best decision I've ever made. Matt and Marlee helped me to motivate myself and touch myself making silly mistakes. This class not only helped me with my SAT, but also learning in general. I look at problems in a different, more creative way that makes solving them easier. Lots of work but well worth it if you do it and you actually care. December 2017 update: I could not have asked for better tutors to help prepare me for my SAT and SAT subject test. Matt, Marlee and the rest of the Wavelength staff are amazing and truly are exceptional at their jobs. I got into my top school, Dartmouth College, and I believe they had such an impact on my decision because of how well they prepared me. They also helped me with my application process and essays. It was an honor and privileged to be tutored by such amazing people!
