Monmouth County SAT and ACT prep -Hoyle

I have nothing but good things to say. The classroom setting is great with a chill your professional classroom. I learned a lot and also different strategies to use on the SAT and ACT. Marlee and Matt really care how well I perform in and out of class. I would highly recommend WaveLength to my friends if they need help on this brutal SAT. Thank you so much for what both of you have done over the course of a month!

Love math again -Stacy

I love Math again. Matt has made it so much easier to understand, and to show me new ways of looking at problems. Marlee and Matt taught me various useful SAT skills. More importantly, they taught me that if I can overcome the SAT (something I really dread and fear), and work hard for it, I can do anything.

I learned so much from Marlee and Matt. They taught me skills that will not just help me on the SAT, but also throughout life. With every SAT practice test I take I can see my score and skill improving. Thank you guys so much!

College testing -Barry

Although extremely belated, I would like to thank both of you for all you have done to help me in my college testing prep, search, and application process. I looked forward to seeing both of you every session; your attitudes and personalities were so inspiring!

Matt: I carry with me the skills you taught me on how to approach and conquer the problems that may seem difficult, but underneath are nothing I cannot handle (this is an awesome lesson that applies to so much more than math!)

Marlee: you made vocabulary and the topic of literature cool! I was enlightened by your awesome energy and found a new passion for in English in my AP Lit class this year. Both of you helped me achieve the happiness that I now have after being accepted (EA) to and deciding to attend Boston College in the fall! I would love to see and talk with both of you again soon! Have a great summer!!

College counselor Monmouth County -Brodsky

Hey Matt!

You told me to email you when I got my SAT's back!

here they are.

I got a 1500 and a 2160...so its a 790 in critical reading, 710 in math, and 660 in writing, which is pretty horrible about the writing but i'm over it. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! This could legit be the best day of my whole life; I am never taking them again!

but my mom actually wants me to take them again because my college counselor said that they're not good enough to get into Columbia, so I was going to ask your opinion??

Thanks!! and THANKS again!

SAT score -Rogers

To whom it may concern,

I am going to be frank with you, WaveLength has changed my life. It’s not that they somehow made me smarter, Matt and Marlee simply helped me recognize my full potential; and I know, for a fact, that they can do the same for you. The tutors at WaveLength approach their job with a passion and a dedication that you could never imagine; they aim to not only have their students succeed on the SAT but to prosper in all aspects of their academia. Their methods have increased my SAT score by over 300 points and gave me the confidence to not just get above a 700 on every section but to expect an 800.

The tutors work one-on-one with their pupils to help them understand both their strengths and weaknesses, and they teach them how to capitalize on both. With conviction, I can say that Marlee and Matt knew me as well as I do by the end of our weeks together. Every tutor will become a teacher, a friend, and a role model for their students; and they will see them succeed. They will expect more out of you than you ever deemed possible and you will find, with a little bit of work, that the impossible has in fact always been possible.

This is no gimmick. My name is Taylor Rogers and I am a high school senior. Next year, I will be attending Yale University on a full NROTC scholarship. With the help of the tutors at WaveLength I was able to beat the SAT and to submit a college application not to be reckoned with. I still wake up every morning and pinch myself because I am living my dream, and I know that you can be living yours. I leave you with every conceivable recommendation to work with WaveLength, it is worth every single cent and so much more.

Gain admission NJ college consultants -Giblin

I am happy to recommend Wavelength Tutoring. Matt and Marlee became friends and mentors to my daughter. They helped her to understand her own strengths and weaknesses and how they affected her approach to and performance on the SAT. She was able to reach her goals and gain admission to her first choice college, Dartmouth.

Necessary information -Sabatini

My experience with WaveLength SAT Tutoring was very worthwhile. I chose to get help from Matt with the mathematics section of the SAT and saw a significant improvement in my score. With his help, I was able to raise my score from a 660 to a 760. He taught me how to look at problems differently and how to pull the necessary information from the clutter.

I find that this skill he helped me develop has was useful on the test, but is also relevant in all facets of life. One special thing about my experience with WaveLength is that I genuinely looked forward to the sessions. It was not a chore to study, it was an opportunity to relax and discuss problem-solving.

With Matt's help, I was accepted to all of the schools to which I applied: The United States Naval Academy, The United States Coast Guard Academy, The Merchant Marine Academy, The University of Pennsylvania, Villanova, and Rutgers.

Test SAT -Carey

Prior to meeting with Marlee, I had been belligerently convinced that I didn't need help with the Reading and Writing sections of the SAT. I had always been a "word kid" rather than a "math kid", and figured I would just figure it out on test day. However, I am so glad I decided to book my first session with Marlee. At first I thought I would just be hearing the same things I have always heard: read the passage and write notes, study vocab, learn your grammar rules, etc., but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Marlee started our session with just getting to know me as a person and test-taker. Even after the first hour I felt comfortable enough with her to ask any question I needed to or to laugh about the (sometimes ridiculous) subject matter of reading passages. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that Marlee's strategies and approaches were unique and could be tailored to fit me specifically. She was very honest and upfront about what I needed to do more of to be successful and what I could skimp on based on that.

She helped me have confidence in myself going into the Writing section, and after our last session before the test (we ended up having three or four) she gave me a straightforward plan for what I should be focusing on the most as the test approached. As for Reading, which I've had a slight penchant towards but have never been great at, (I got a 59 on the PSAT which is equivalent to a 590 on the real deal, and had been scoring pretty low 600's on practice tests) Marlee made sure that I knew I had potential and showed me exactly how to manifest it. Her strategy of reading-not-reading the passages, which I was at first a bit skeptical towards, ended up being my saving grace. When I mentioned it to my friends, they all haughtily remarked that it was ridiculous or risky...until I ended up with an 800 on test day.

Overall, both my Writing and Reading scores are exactly where I needed to be, and despite what I initially thought, I definitely wouldn't have gotten there without Marlee. She was a great person to meet with and learn from, and I would recommend her to anybody who has even the slightest potential to score high in reading/writing (which is everyone).

Thank you so much Wavelength and Marlee!

Geometry tutoring -Marsden

January 30, 2015

As you know Luke's "year" for geometry ended this week. He took his geometry final and got a 90 on the exam. Yes a 90. Last semester he got a 71 on his midterm. We are so proud of him.

A lot of this obviously has to do with the help of Tosin. Tosin joined our family at the start of Luke's third marking period. Luke was struggling with math and it was his only class holding him back from making honor roll.

Tosin would come over once a week and work closely with Luke. Tosin has a similar personality like Luke. Somewhat quiet, laid-back and kind yet confident. They were a perfect match for each other. I would sit in another room and listen. As time went on I could hear them connecting more. Luke started to take off in geometry and it helped him with chemistry as well.

Luke's confidence with schoolwork changed. By that, I mean study habits. He became more aware of "doing well" all around and not giving up. Because of this, Luke made honor roll again this marking period.

Thank you for all your support. I know I would welcome back Tosin anytime and use your agency again.

All the best!

Calculating -Reynolds

WaveLength has been nothing short of phenomenal. Nobody can make SAT prep fun and exciting, but they certainly made it much more than test prep. Matt took the Math section far beyond calculating. He spent an enormous amount of energy figuring out exactly what my weaknesses were and tailored lessons specifically to them. Not only did he help raise my SAT Math score, he changed the way I approach any math problem. My math grades in school saw a 10 point improvement since the beginning of my lessons with Matt. As if that wasn’t plenty enough, Matt has had a profound impact on my daily life as a whole. Lessons like “Don’t doubt yourself, doubt your work” are applicable anywhere and will remain so for many years to come. Matt cares about your test scores and your all out mental improvement, quantitatively and emotionally. He is the kind of man you never really forget.

Daniel helped improve my weakest sections, reading and writing, by breaking it down in the eyes of a test writer. He helped me organize my thought process when tackling the reading and writing and broke the essay into a foolproof formula. He also took our lessons beyond the test; I had an average vocabulary and now I still enjoy learning new words.
Anna Rose was extremely helpful in training me for the subject test. With a well-rounded background in the sciences and high level math, she was able to explain any concept in thorough yet understandable detail. She constantly showed up with extra material that she had personally researched and printed out and I was always impressed with her dedication to my success.

meAs the oldest, and with a foreign mother, my parents were very unsure of the college process but our meeting with Marlee cleared up all our questions and allowed us to approach college applications much more confidently. Her experience has made her one of the most valuable sources I’ve ever had in college information and I am so thankful to have discussed the process with her. To put this all in one sentence: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND WAVELENGTH SAT PREP.

Thanks so much guys!

Word problems -Burke

While taking these classes over the past few weeks, I’ve learned the SAT format and how to approach the test. In Math, I’ve learned to put together many patterns while solving word problems that may benefit not only my math skills but my life. English has helped me with many grammar errors and has taught me how to write an essay. Taking the practice tests inside of the book has made me more comfortable with the SAT and has made me prepared to take the test. A little more help and studying wouldn’t hurt however these classes have really helped me a lot and have improved my knowledge.

SAT soaring -Rovere

Dear Matt,

As the year closes, I reflect on all those who played an important role in the life of my family. What you did for Torie was priceless.

You touched her life in the most positive of ways. Learning had never been more “fun” nor had more impact. Besides her SAT soaring… she had a new found confidence.

We are very grateful for all you did.

Instruction SAT test prep -McCue

Dear WaveLength tutoring and test prep,

It is difficult to know where to begin recommending someone you admire. Marlee’s influence and instruction this past year have been vital in my growth as a student and as a person.

As an athlete, I learned early that confidence was central for success. Before meeting Marlee however, I only really had confidence in myself as an athlete. She helped me realize that I had talents, and abilities outside of swimming. This new self-assurance aided me on the SAT’s as well as in my writing on my college applications and in my classes.

Thank you, Marlee!

Solution -Castano

Wavelength tutoring goes above and beyond what typical prep companies teach and instills lessons and thoughts that can be applied beyond the testing center. Last year I managed to help a scientist crystallize a mitochondrial protein complex known as MTERF4-NSUN4, which plays a role in ribosome biogenesis in the mitochondria. This work led to a publication in the scientific journal Structure, in which I was named a co-author on the paper.

When college decisions came back, my parents and I were ecstatic. I was accepted into Rutgers UniversityBoston CollegeEmory UniversityUniversity of VirginiaWilliams CollegeNorthwestern UniversityJohns Hopkins UniversityDuke UniversityBrown UniversityColumbia University, and Yale University.

Matt and Marlee taught me more than just how to take a test. They taught me how to approach a problem from different angles, and how to use a variety of different techniques and ideas to solve it. The value of this approach cannot be measured. Sometimes the answer to a question is not found within a textbook, but is built through the use of a thousand different ideas that are used in combination with one another to create a unique and powerful solution.

I know this has taken a while to write, but it has been quite the process deciding what college I am going to attend. First I would just like to thank you for helping me. I know you had many other students, and it means a lot to know that you were willing to take the time to do this for me. Although the college application procedure was difficult, your passion during writing sessions made me really enjoy the process. I will be attending Dickinson College in south central Pennsylvania. Once again thank you very much!

Monmouth County SAT classes -Hozayen

Wavelength was a great experience. I learned the strategies necessary to succeed and felt myself improving with every class; This ensured that I was always motivated to do the work for the course. The SAT classes themselves were actually quite enjoyable. Marlee is a pleasure to be around and so much can be learned from her, and that isn't limited to SAT information. With her help I achieved an 800 in critical reading! Matt is an awesome teacher who instills confidence in his students. With their help I got a 2200 and into Cornell University!

Higher SAT score -McDermott

Dear Matt,

This is a very professional organization. The SAT instructors are all very knowledgeable and highly skilled. I thought the in person face to face was very helpful. Most importantly the return on investment was obvious when you consider the impact a higher SAT score can have on your child's future.

SAT subject tests -Falk

We would like to offer well-deserved praise for Marlee Napurano's work with our son, Crosby Newcomer-Falk, to help him increase his scores in the writing section of the June 2007 SAT's. With Just two sessions Marlee was able to help Crosby bring up his score in Writing a dramatic 100 points!

Crosby also added an extra two points on his SAT essay score, and was given a number of excellent tips on how to use dynamic language and detail to improve his overall writing ability, which he will be using as he crafts his college essays this fall, his senior year in high school.

We also appreciate Marlee's assistance that we will be using her company Wave Length's help again this summer and fall for tutoring Crosby in the Math sections of the SAT and SAT subject tests prior to those subjects which he plans to take at the beginning of the school year.

We feel that Marlee has just the right blend of professionalism and personality to relate well - and work well with young adults. We highly recommend Marlee Napurano and her co-workers to students (and parents) looking for solid, practical and effective assistance with academic scores in preparation for college.

Monmouth County college counseling -Giblin

When I began working with Matt and Marlee at Wavelength, the SAT was the most intimidating hurdle of my college process. I knew the scores I needed to achieve to be accepted into my first choice college, but the gap between where I was and where I needed to be seemed impossible to bridge. Immediately, they were able to recognize my strengths and weaknesses. Matt helped me to simplify the math problems by recognizing patterns that I could see; the questions became easier, and I learned that the errors I made were silly mistakes in my own work. “Trust your process, not your work,” is a strategy that I now implement in all aspects of my life. Similarly, Marlee helped me to create a systemized approach to the reading and English sections of the SAT, that not only helped me to achieve my scores but also enriched my learning and understanding of literature in all other aspects of school and life.

The most meaningful part of my experience with Wavelength is that I have now have mentors, not just for my SAT, but for life. The lessons Matt and Marlee taught me are ones that I will carry with me and apply to my studies at Dartmouth College in the fall of 2016.

Summer tutoring -Mallozzi

Dear Marlee and Matt,

I am writing to thank you for introducing my son Stefano to Daniel this summer. He spent the entire summer tutoring Stefano for the SAT. He is an amazing person and a real added value to your staff.

Daniel really helped Stefano by teaching him the strategies need to succeed and also honed in on his weaknesses to improve those skill gaps identified. While working on his gaps he always highlighted Stefano’s strengths. He encouraged him each week with positive reinforcements and made him feel really good about himself during this very stressful time. He gave him the confidence he needed to go into the SAT test with a can do attitude.

Stefano and Daniel worked very closely each week and developed a really strong relationship. Daniel would spend added time after each session and talk to Stefano about his essay for his applications. Daniel’s expert writing ability really provided Stefano with a clear idea as to how to approach the application process regardless of the outcome of the SAT. He continued each week to really get to know my son and understand him in a way that really made a difference.

We are happy to say that Stefano did get into his first choice school and will spend his freshman year abroad studying international business and finance. I really believe that Daniel had such a strong impact on Stefano and was part of the successful outcome and words can not thank him enough for all he has done for my son. I can only say that as a mother the greatest joy is to see your child succeed and I believe Daniel played a big part in this very happy ending.

Testing strategies Monmouth County -Parlamas

Thanks so much WaveLength! You were instrumental in helping me achieve the score I wanted to achieve on the SAT.

Before sessions with Matt, my score was well below where I wanted it to be. Matt was able to teach me a systematic, strategic way of approaching the test. He also provided me with valuable knowledge and testing strategies to deal with questions that did not easily come to me. He helped me raise my score several hundred points in both math and verbal sections, which made the college process much less stressful.

I just recently graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Looking back, I couldn't be happier I chose WaveLength.

SAT instructors -Covino

I am writing to extol the virtues of this wonderful team of SAT instructors! My son is currently a junior at Colts Neck High School and has in the past been very anxious and avoidant about any standardized test. Although he is a straight A student, he has historically been a bad tester.

What this prep course has done, at the very least is demystified the whole standardized testing process for him. Additionally, he reported to me that he "loved this course better than any high school class" he's taken. Matt and Marlee have made otherwise "dry and boring" material both interesting and stimulating for my son. He actually looked forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays !

I recommend Wavelength to everyone and plan on having my younger child take it, as well!

Thanks for everything,
F. Covino, Colts Neck High School Marlboro, Monmouth County, NJ 07746

Encourage -Egar

Had a great time in the class! Matt and Marlee are very helpful and bring a lot of energy to the class. They are very personable and encourage questions. They taught me a lot of techniques that are helpful not only for the SAT but life in general. I'm going to miss Matt's stories and motivational speeches during class. It was awesome and Marlee brought in the buzzer so we could buzz in when we wanted to answer a question. Thanks for everything.

Good team -Smith

Loved this class! Matt and Marlee make a good team because their skills contrast each other. I've had faith in this class from day one and I wasn't disappointed. I've learned a lot not only about the SAT but life lessons from Matt. There's a lot of work involved in the Math section, but well worth it.

My second time taking this class, best decision I've ever made. Matt and Marlee helped me to motivate myself and touch myself making silly mistakes. This class not only helped me with my SAT, but also learning in general. I look at problems in a different, more creative way that makes solving them easier. Lots of work but well worth it if you do it and you actually care.

Monmouth County ACT prep -Paulus

Andrea deserves all of the praise she can get- I jumped from a 25 to a 30 on the ACT!

Andrea not only taught me strategies I needed to improve my Science, Reading and English scores, but she also gave me the confidence I was lacking. When she saw me improving during our sessions, she told me that I could replicate the same results on test day and she made me proud of the progress I was making. Lessons were fun, motivating, and productive. She helped me see the test as "smaller" than it is, which made me less anxious. I would definitely recommend Andrea to anyone who needs a score and confidence boost! :)

Practice SAT prep Monmouth County -Scott

My name is Brian Scott and my Daughter Olivia worked with Daniel in late 2015 early 2016 for SAT prep. While we only had 2 sessions, one each in front of the Dec and Feb tests, the impact was substantial.

Olivia is high performing and Daniel was quick to evaluate just where she needed guidance, mostly around strategy but also with some specific targeted practice and tips in Math and Writing.

Livi earned a 2100 on the first try and jumped to 2300 on the second. I'm sure much of that jump was due to Daniels evaluation of her results and guidance on adjustments.

It's refreshing to see someone who is so dedicated to evaluating and guiding each student based on their individual needs strengths and weaknesses, and does not just apply a cookie cutter one size fits all approach.

Daniel's knowledge of the college admission process and how schools evaluate results was an added bonus. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and we will be sure to recommend him to friends and use him again when it's our sons turn to take the tests.

Thank you for your service and dedicated staff and please let me know if you have any questions.

Superscore SAT scoring -Donohue

Hi there!

I just want to say thank you so much for helping my daughter prepare for the SATs. She took a group class with Daniel in the summer going into her junior year, and then followed up with a private two hour session. She really needed to get her math score up and Daniel made it happen. He didn't just have her repetitively solve problem after problem. Instead they strategized, pinpointing her weaknesses and strengthening them tremendously. With Daniel's expertise, her math score went up 120 points. When all was said and done, she ended up with a superscore of a 2310.

At the beginning of this whole process, the SATs seemed very daunting. Daniel made everything much simpler, for both me and my daughter. We cannot thank Daniel and Wavelength enough!

Monmouth County SAT tutoring -Littleson

Sophomore year, I was grateful to accept Vanderbilt’s offer to play for their Women’s Lacrosse program. I knew that the offer came with high expectations, expectations I was determined to meet. But, after many stressful months of SAT classes, and different SAT tutoring sessions, nothing seemed to be working and I soon began to lose some faith in myself. This all turned around when I first met Marlee.

She not only became one of my biggest supporters but she ultimately gave me back my confidence and my drive to get the scores I needed. Marlee devotes 110% of herself to her students, and I couldn’t be more thankful for her dedication. Her approach with me was much different than my past experiences with other tutors. She knew right off the bat my strengths and my weaknesses, and focused directly on those weaknesses turning them into even more strengths. In the end, this improved my score dramatically.

I will never forget the day when I finally received my scores on that June SAT. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders, and I finally could breathe again. Going into senior year I will constantly be reminded how lucky I am for the opportunities I have been given, and especially for Marlee who stuck by me and helped me to make my opportunities a reality!

Test taking -Gooch

The SAT is one of the most important tests you can take in your pre-adult life. No matter what GPA you accumulate or extra curricular resume you may manage to piece together, there will always be the matter of your simple and undiscriminating SAT scores. It just a number, and yet it is so much more than that.

I’m a strong student; Matt and Dan never had to change my work ethic or teach me math and grammar. While I’m sure they could have revamped my entire understanding of the subjects, they did something even more impressive. My tutors took the knowledge and understanding that I already had and squeezed extra points out of it. By simply teaching my brain how to think about and approach problems, they molded me into a better test taker. The night before my second and final attempt at the SAT, I sat down with Matt and identified a critical error in my test taking. I knew how to solve any math problem they would give me, but I would time and time again make careless errors. That night we developed a new method for marking and checking problems, a method that on each section saved me one or two careless errors. This no doubt led to the 130 point rise in my math score. That night sitting with Matt in my living room, I knew we had arrived at something innovative for my test taking, and I never would have achieved an 800 without it. Matt knew my abilities better than I did and was able to address my weaknesses with amazing insight. Not only did I build upon my skills while with Matt and Dan, but I enjoyed every minute I spent working with them.

Matt and Dan were nothing less than the best teachers I could ask for. My only regret is that living in a boarding school I couldn’t spend more time working with them.

Thank You
Stefan Gooch, Lawrenceville 2013, Boston College 2017 Rumson, Monmouth County, NJ 07760

Private tutoring Monmouth County -Price

My experience with Wavelength was great overall. Not only did I see an increase in my score, but I actually enjoyed going to the after school classes. The program teaches some different and eye-opening techniques that help make the problems much more approachable. The insight that I gained with Wavelength’s classes and private tutoring helped me increase my score by 230 points.

While starting out in the classroom, I quickly learned that the tutors are extremely dedicated and qualified. They not only have a comprehensive understanding of the SAT, but also a gift for working with young adults. Their group can relate to students well. Knowing that each student is different, they set aside time one on one to figure out the individual problems that the students face. The tutors get to know each student on a personal level, allowing them to draw connections to how they think about the SAT problems, with how they face problems in the real world. On the English side, I learned how to find the right answer with more accuracy and simplicity, while simultaneously cutting down the time it takes to do so. In Math, I was taught how to break down the tests into sections and how to find the most direct route to the correct response. All of it required much practice and hard work, but I was so thrilled with my Wavelength experience, that once the classes ended, I continued with private tutoring in Math to increase my score.

Applying to some of the best and most competitive undergraduate business schools in the country, I knew that I needed to have a high math score in order to be accepted. And I knew exactly who to call. Matt, having had me in the class before, understood my obstacles. We delved deeper to figure out how to receive the score I needed. Matt discovered that my problems were all mental, and worked with me as a coach would. We spent hours, often overtime, to increase my speed, build confidence, and approach each problem with the Wavelength strategy that significantly increased accuracy. I could really feel how he was rooting for me and truly cared about my success. After much practice, my math score increased by an additional 100 points, helping me land a spot at my number one school choice. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Most SAT tutors drill students with problems and lectures, teaching all of the vocabulary, grammar, and math that is needed on the SAT. With that said, however, students taking the SAT have already learned most of what is on the test. Everyone needs a refresher, so Wavelength of course provides that, but it is mostly about strategy and practice. If a student puts the work in that the program demands, he or she can expect an excellent outcome.

Standardized tests Monmouth County -Capone

I am so happy I made the choice to do WaveLength again. After seeing much improvement on my SAT scores after doing the program with Marlee and Matt, it was a no-brainer to sign up for the ACT class with Andrea. I expected good things walking into the class, but my expectations were exceeded. Andrea has provided me with extensive knowledge and confidence that have translated to significantly higher scores on the practice test I've taken. I never thought I'd look forward to taking a standardized tests, but Andrea has given me the confidence to view the ACT as an opportunity for success. Thanks for everything!

ACT prep Monmouth County -Reichey

WaveLength has helped me a lot over the past month. I feel I am prepared to take the ACT. I learned things about this test that I would not have known going into the test without ACT prep. Andrea is a great teacher who really pushes you to do better. I enjoyed this class more than some classes I've taken school. I feel I am as prepared as ever and believe I will do well.

Monmouth County college consulting -Johnson

Hi Marlee,

I hope this message finds you well. I came across this e-mail from you urging me to look into the CH department at Tufts as a high school senior. Fast forward four years and you'll find a CH and Spanish double major, accomplished thesis writer (I interviewed 20 hispanic backstretch workers-- 10 H-2B and 10 undocumented in Spanish and determined whether or not the H-2B guest worker program, in its current model, could serve as a large-scale national program for our nation's undocumented workers--soon to be published (fingers crossed), and departmental award winner. I decided not to delete this e-mail in my comprehensive inbox purge and instead reflected on the impact you have had on my academic and life trajectory. I've never been able to articulate how your guidance throughout my senior year not only helped improve my SAT scores, but more importantly forced me to look inward and really discover my own interests and passions and begin to formulate my "life plan". I am now at graduate school at tufts, pursuing an MPH. I am applying to medical school next fall.

I work as a volunteer interpreter at the Parker Clinic in Red Bank and at a free clinic here in Boston. Honduraide is still up and running and I'm focusing on procuring funding for a new burn unit. This fall, I TA-ed Intro to community health.

This is a long-overdue thank you but I hope you are doing well and enjoying getting to know another Johnson family member (only one more left after Alessandra…!). As an extension of our verbal sessions, I continue to barrage Alessandra with SAT vocab (she may not be the biggest fan BUT she did state that my continued use of "egregious" helped her decide between gregarious and egregious on the SAT).

PS: At Tufts, I developed a relationship with the admissions counselor who read my application. I will forever be known in the admissions department as "nalgene girl."

ACT tutor Monmouth County -Carlson

My WaveLength ACT tutor was lively and interactive. She made sure to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She also gave compliments to those who got answers correctly. I learned to take breaks and stop stressing because it won't help much. I learned step-by-step directions on each section. She was relatable and funny and kept my attention on what she was teaching us. She gave us her phone number for further questions and ACT practice tests which was very thoughtful.

We have had a wonderful and very positive experience with you guys. We found you both extremely knowledgeable and helpful, not only with regard to the the SAT, but with the entire college applications process.

You were always forthcoming and willing to discuss ideas and suggestions, as well as extremely professional in every regard. I know Michael enjoyed and really learned from you both. His comfort level was set very high immediately because of your outgoing nature and relative youth. I know he felt he could relate to you and really hear what you had to say with out feeling "preached to." He is going into his test confident and we are shooting for the stars.

Thanks you guys! It's been a pleasure!!

test grades -Mancuso

I’m writing to say how pleased I am with my son’s tutoring sessions. He is a freshman at CBA, and although he started out not needing (or wanting) extra help, it soon became clear that he was lagging behind in math.

We hired Matt to get him back on track, and after just a few sessions we knew we had made the right decision. I’m happy to report that Anthony’s test grades steadily rose. More importantly, Matt’s approach to the subject material, and practical application of it, has had a positive effect on Anthony’s work habits. Where Anthony had been dreading homework and tests, he now is focusing on preparing for the challenge. Thanks for all your help!

My son Scott is taking your course at Colts Neck High School. I just wanted to tell you that he is really enjoying it. He loves going, which is amazing because it is after school and you’d think he’d want to be out of there. He especially enjoys the math teacher on Thursdays; he says it’s really great! I just wanted to thank you for bringing your SAT program to our school and giving him this opportunity.

Monmouth County tutoring services -Cooper

I contacted WaveLength Tutoring in Spring 2012 to inquire about their tutoring services. I was searching for someone to help strengthen my son's writing skills over the summer. After receiving my email, Marlee from WaveLength contacted me.

I knew we were in good hands as she patiently listened as I explained our background and exactly what I was looking for. (These initial conversations were important to me. I was tired of spending money for services that weren't the right fit. It was important to make sure we were on the same page and I'm glad she took the time to do that.)

Based on our conversations she recommended Daniel Sozomenu to work with my son. She felt like that would be a good fit based on my child's interests and needs. And she was right! It's hard to convince a middle schooler to do extra work in the summer. However, Daniel made it easy.

It was quickly apparent that Daniel had a wealth of knowledge to share with my son. But more importantly, he quickly established a good relationship with my son. As a result, I not only noticed an improvement in his writing skills but more importantly in his attitude towards writing.

After working with Daniel, his writing improved and his confidence increased. The sessions with Daniel were a worthwhile investment and I wouldn't hesitate to call on Daniel and WaveLength again.

Mentor -Rovere

Dear Marlee,

There are paths we cross because we need to, having to search out for those who can help us in our lives. Most times it’s fleeting. The task is completed, and we go our separate ways. Other times, there’s a real connection…that’s what I feel Torie has found with you. You didn’t just teach- you care; you’ve become a mentor in many ways. I could not have chosen a better role model than she has found in you.

Thank you for all you’ve done and all you are. We’re truly blessed to have you in our lives.

Dear Mr. Abatemarco:

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Marlee Napurano who has served various communities as an energized and dedicated educator. I have known Ms. Napurano for a number of years and has demonstrated great perserverance and initiative. She has always performed in a professional, competent, and caring manner. Ms. Napurano is a well disciplined, industrious, and talented individual with a very pleasant personality. She has proven to provide exemplary services to children in need of after-school tutorial and state-wide assessment preparation. She has successfully tutored my daughter, a 2005 graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School who now attends Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.

Ms. Napurano has the intellectual creativity necessary to open windows of opportunity for all children. She puts forth a great effort in making her instruction exciting and meaningful. Private SAT tutoring service -Dalton

Dear Matt and Marlee,

There are no words to thank you enough for everything you’ve done for Billy and for how pleased we were with your services.

From the very beginning we could tell we made the right decision when choosing WaveLength as the private SAT tutoring service for our son. With your backgrounds, education, and personal experiences you were both well qualified to instruct Billy in your respective areas of expertise, but it was your personalities that really made the difference. The enthusiasm you brought to our home every week was unbelievable, and the way you both were instantly able to make Billy feel comfortable and unintimidated was amazing. He respected both of you, he listened to both of you, but more importantly, he really liked both of you. He actually looked forward to his tutoring sessions!

Bill and I hold you both in the highest regard. You were always willing to talk to us, answer our questions and advise us. When it came time for college selection and all that the applications entailed, your advice and help was invaluable. I honestly don’t think we could have done it with out you.

Did Billy’s SAT scores improve? Yes they did, dramatically. And even though that’s what we signed up for initially, now that I look back on it all, the higher scores just seem like an added bonus. You both gave Billy so much more. You gave him encouragement and a confidence in himself that wasn’t there before. You had a genuine concern for him and respect for him and he felt that. You both became so much more than Billy’s tutors- you became his friends, our friends- and you will both be missed very much.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Jill Dalton, Colts Neck High School Colts Neck, Monmouth County, NJ 07722

Committed kind teachers Monmouth County -Lyons

I wish all of my high school teachers were as committed, kind, and intelligent as Matt and Marlee. I not only feel like I learned a lot, but also was involved and connected which is key for learning. I felt comfortable and that all of the material was easy to learn.

In the Math class, I learned new ways to solve problems and to make the harder problems easier and quicker, which will definitely help me reach my goal of an 800. In the Verbal class, I learned how to tackle vocab questions, how to approach reading passages, and how to find grammar mistakes more easily. My goal was to bring up my reading score but I am confident I will be able to bring up my essay and writing scores as well. No complaints :-)

Results -Goode

Dear Marlee and Matt:

I just wanted to take a moment to write and let you know how much I appreciate everything you did for Gianna. As it turned out, you were much more than SAT tutors.

As you know, throughout the many months you worked with Gianna, she greatly improved her verbal and math skills, as well as her test taking skills. However, the most valuable results may have been less obvious to you than to me, her mother. Gianna gained so much confidence in her ability to succeed, and this gift you have given her will serve her well long after her SAT results are forgotten. Matt, I can still hear you, from the other room, telling Gianna that she “just thinks she doesn’t know how to do a math problem”. Marlee, I can still hear your kind voice encouraging Gianna, even when her answer was wrong, by finding something positive in her attempt, nonetheless. Neither of you ever questioned her competence, even when she did.

In such an uncertain time it has been a great comfort to Gianna to know that you were “with” her throughout it. She was accepted to her first choice school, Miami of Ohio, largely because of your instruction and encouragement. The SAT work, and the collaboration on her essay obviously helped her to stand out in the crowd, since she was accepted by Early Decision. If you ever doubted that could happen, as she did, it never showed.

Words of thanks aren’t nearly enough. I will wholeheartedly recommend you to all my friends for their children. You once said that Gianna was your first student in your new business. Now, she is also your business’ first success.

High SAT score -Palecki

WaveLength was the best thing that ever happened to my college preparation. I learned so many things about the SAT and was able to significantly increase my score in every section to a total of 2260.

In addition to tips and tricks, WaveLength gave me the confidence to succeed on the test. Marlee was amazing and significantly helped me with writing and critical reading. Matt was awesome and helped me realize that I knew the answers. WaveLength was very helpful, but more importantly it motivated me to achieve the highest possible score.

WaveLength was so much fun! Marlee and Matt were very friendly and easy to talk to. We enjoyed ourselves even when we were studying. The program helped me conquer the SAT. My high SAT score is critical to my acceptance at the University of Pennsylvania where I will be attending this fall.

Thank you WaveLength! :-D

Monmouth County admissions counseling -Citron

This letter is in reference to WaveLength Tutoring and Test Prep.

My Name is Suzanne Citron, My husband and I have lived in New Jersey for 16 years. We have two children who attend Ranney School in Tinton Falls. Our daughter, Kyra is currently in the 8th grade. She has been at Ranney School since she was three.

Our journey with WaveLength started when our daughter returned from a school trip over the summer. Ranney School offered the middle school students an opportunity to travel to England for three weeks. They would stay at Charterhouse, just outside of London. On August 1st, Kyra asked us about her options for high school. We were under the impression that she would remain at Ranney School, as she truly loved her community and enjoyed her friends and faculty at Ranney. She explained to us that she wanted to apply to boarding school.

Needless to say, we were not prepared for what was ahead. After a few nights of research, we discovered that Kyra would be required to take the SSAT and achieve in the 2100+ range in order to even be considered an applicant for the schools of her choice. With only four short months, we had to start the process of test prep and applications.

Thankfully, we found Marlee and Matt. From the start, I knew that these two people could really help us. They each scheduled a meeting to meet with Kyra and assess her needs. They determined that Kyra would need four hours per week with Matt and two hours per week with Marlee. They were patient with Kyra and helped her to focus on the task areas at hand and not just the test as a whole. They both assigned homework to keep her continuing her work during the week and not loose momentum.

After six weeks, Kyra too the test for the first time in October. Her grades were solid, with a 2100 and was in the 76%, but we knew Kyra could do better. After a review of the test outcome, Matt focused on test strategy. Matt found that Kyra typically made careless errors. He spent great amounts of time showing her the flow of the test. He explained strategies for Kyra to remember during the exam, “if the question seems too easy and you are half way through the section - check it again - you may be wrong.” Just by using Matt’s simple reminder, Kyra learned to really focus on the test questions and not just the test as a whole. Marlee had determined that we really needed to increase vocabulary. We bought SAT prep flash cards and Kyra started to memorize words. Poor Kyra was in the throws of 8th grade at Ranney, prepping with Matt and Marlee and now learning over 300 new words! But Kyra’s attitude stayed positive because Matt and Marlee were always upbeat and energetic. They kept her calm and focused.

After six more weeks of test prep, Kyra took the test again in December. Marlee had bought Kyra a stuffed animal of a lamb for good luck! Kyra loves lambs, so to have Marlee give her one really gave Kyra a boost! I am proud to say that Kyra achieved a 2176 and is in the 89%. She is exactly were she needs to be for the schools she is focused on. Matt and Marlee were instrumental in this process. They gave support to Kyra as well as her parents. They took the time to teach, but also gave a great deal of time in discussion with us. They would go over Kyra’s needs and let us know where to focus. Without Matt and Marlee, we would never have been able to prep Kyra to this level. They were flexible with times and dates and both genuinely cared about Kyra. Matt and Marlee not only wanted Kyra to do well, but wanted Kyra to think she did well. They were her cheerleaders. Matt and Marlee gave her the knowledge for the exam and the confidence to succeed.

I would also like to add that during all this test prep, not only did she achieve her goals, but also we have seen a marked improvement in her grades at school. Thanks to WaveLength, she is a straight “A” student!

When it comes time for us to have SAT prep, I know who I am calling. Do you?

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Tutoring support Monmouth County -Silverman

Dear Marlee,

Although I haven't had the pleasure to meet you personally, I am Brian Silverman, Emily's father. I wanted to take a moment to briefly share a few thoughts with you in connection with you and your firm's involvement with my daughter over the past few years.

Firstly, the tutoring support she received in physics and math was very helpful and successful. As you know, I'm sure, while Emily is remarkably self possessed for a person of her "tender years", she is also a very sensitive child and the academic support provided by you and your colleagues meant a great deal to her. Also, in that connection, believe the efforts spent in helping to prepare her for the SATs was likewise, very valuable and make a significant contribution to her success there.

Secondly, while I think that Emily's modesty and ingenuous tendencies might not allow her to fully appreciate the esteem in which she his held having been offered a part-time tutoring position in your firm, you may be sure it has escaped my notice. I think that it is a terrific experience for her, I am very proud of her, and flattered and grateful for your interest in inviting her into your professional circle.

Lastly, as I am sure you are aware, I am a dentist. I have, for eleven years now, been fortunate enough to have held a half-time position (in addition to a modest private practice) as the director of a small residency program in dentistry that is part of the Dept. of Med. Ed. at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. In my capacity at the hospital, I receive stacks of applications from perspective candidates, replete with the usual assortment of essays and letters of recommendations. I wind up reading hundreds of recommendations every fall as we prepare to interview candidates. I must tell you that Emily shared with me, the letter you wrote in support of her application to Yale. I was absolutely blown away, and could barely keep myself from becoming emotionally overwhelmed. It was a most eloquent and thoughtfully composed letter. The sincerity and actions you took to express such an extraordinary degree of support left me astonished, bursting with pride for my daughter, and deeply grateful for your efforts. I was simply the best letter of recommendation I have ever read, both in content and composition.

I am also aware that you have personally spent many hours helping Emily "above and beyond" the contracted services to which you are committed, and that she has developed a very strong rapport with you and a high regard for your opinions, as well. I just wanted to let you know that I think you have been a wonderful mentor, role model, and friend to her, and I am looking forward to being able to personally express my gratitude at some point in the near future.

Thank you for everything.

Warm regards,
Brian Silverman, DMD, Director, Overlook Dental Care Center, Holmdel High School Holmdel, Monmouth County, NJ 07733

Basic classes -Lanzieri

This is to attest that Matt Makrinos has been tutoring our daughter, Elissa Lanzieri, for a period of approximately one year.

Matt Makrinos is an extremely dedicated, responsible and most capable individual. He is not only extremely knowledgeable in the subject matter he is entrusted to teach, but he is also very perceptive of his student's existing abilities, capabilities and potential aptitude. We have found him to not only teach the subject matter, but also include teaching strategies that are all-encompassing. His approach with the student is not only to provide the necessary knowledge of the subject, but to instill the confidence in the students' capabilities and potential. Matt's objective is not to ensure the grades go; but, more importantly, that the child truly learns and understands the subject matter. In this approach, the grades are a result of, not the means.

Matt Makrinos also know how to render the subject interesting and enjoyable. e is completely involved in the success of his students. He is not the typical tutor who simply comes in, does his duty and collects his due. First, he tries to get to know your child, even in getting to know their personal interests, and then he caters his program around satisfying his/her needs as well as aspirations. His goal is to ensure that your child is successful and he this by consistently trying to challenge him/her and the encouraging their accomplishments.

Our daughter's weakness was Mathematics and she even built an aversion to the course. We have tried many tutors in the past, even certified teachers, but there was never any significant improvement. We were quite frustrated and discouraged; in fact, we were hesitant to even try another tutor. Fortunately, we me Mr. Makrinos, and he was able to change all that. He essentially led my daughter to not only understand the subject better, but also to enjoy it as well. She went from struggling in basic classes of Mathematics, to know successfully enjoying regular classes of Mathematics. That is quite an accomplishment, as now she is much more confident and capable of taking on more challenges, with out any trepidation. To our daughter he is not atutor but more like a mentor, as he always gives her great advice, even on how to approach certain difficult situations. He has definitely been a good positive influence in her life. There is no greater pleasure than to see your child feel good about themselves and approaching challenges in a positive manner.

We do not hesitate to give our highest recommendation to Matt Makrinos, and we are quite convinced that he will be worthy of the confidence he shall receive. There is absolutely no doubt in our mind, that Matt Makrinos' intellectual capacity and dedication will prove laudable.

800 SAT score -Finan

Matt and Marlee,

Great news! Although I wasn't able to get that 800 in math (my highest math is a 700), I got an 800 in BOTH writing and critical reading!

I can't thank you enough for all of your help! Without a doubt, the SAT was the most intimidating hurdle that I faced in the college admissions process. I will be forever grateful for your advice that allowed me to look at the SAT through a different lens and raise my score by 400 points. I sincerely thank you because those 400 points would have been wasted away as unrealized potential had it not been for the time that both of you spent with me.

Today, I write to you as a Notre Dame student--something I have been hoping to say one day since I first met you--and I thank you for allowing me to reach my full potential; I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you so much for changing my approach to this test and, quite frankly my outlook on life!

Go Irish!

Subject test -Nadler

Wanted to let you know that my son Justin had an excellent experience with both Kevin Francolini and Daniel Sozomenu. Kevin prepped Justin for the US History SAT subject test and Daniel prepped him for the SAT. Justin worked with Daniel over about a 9 month period. Daniel was very accommodating with his schedule, worked effectively with Justin, and we saw a big improvement in Justin's scores.

We plan to work with Daniel again for our other children.

Thank you.

SAT prep class -Canetta

Last year the PTSO wanted to bring an SAT Prep Class to Colts Neck High School. We wanted to offer both the students and the parents the convenience of having an SAT prep class after school. After talking with numerous “big” SAT prep companies, WaveLength was recommended to me by someone who had used them for private tutoring. I contacted them and was very pleased with what they were offering. We had two sessions last year, winter and spring. We received excellent feedback from both the students and the parents.

On behalf of the Colts Neck High School PTSO, I would like to offer you my recommendation for WaveLength SAT Prep Tutoring. Marlee Napurano and Matt Makrinos are professional, reliable and knowledgeable of the new SAT test. They have a way of getting through to the students. We will continue to use WaveLength this year for three sessions: fall, winter and spring. I highly recommend WaveLength to teach an SAT prep class in your school.

Admission testing Monmouth County -O'Rourke

Dear Matthew,

I have been meaning to write to you to let you know what a great job Daniel did with my son Jack. He really connected with him and helped him prepare for admission testing. He achieved his goal and he is really having a great year! I think Daniel had a lot to do with getting him on track. I would not hesitate to have Jack work with Daniel again and have already recommended him and your company to others.

Testing -Sedlak

Dear Marlee,

I just wanted to send you an email regarding my son Joe's SAT prep sessions with Daniel Sozomenu. My son just got his SAT scores from his testing in June and he went from 1610 to 1760, which is great! I completely attribute this increase to his SAT prep sessions with Daniel. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and he was so good with Joe, he also worked so hard to fit him into his schedule. We really cut it close to the test date but Daniel worked with us to get in as many sessions as possible. Please let him know how much we appreciate all his help.

Thank you,

SAT II subject tests Monmouth County -Barry

We used WaveLength Tutoring for our son this past year. They were amazing in how they determined exactly what he needed to focus the most on for the SAT exam. They bought all of the necessary books and even bought study aids for the SAT II subject tests. The tutors were flexible if he needed to reschedule and they tutor in your home which is convenient. The tutors are professional and personable. If you want your child to fulfill their potential I highly recommend them.
Kristin Barry, St. Rose High School Spring Lake, Monmouth County, NJ 07762

Instructors -Koh

I really like WaveLength tutoring because it was a very relaxing environment and I learned a lot. I learned organization, time management, and how to decode the test. For writing and reading, I learned how to read passages more efficiently and effectively and also learned how to write a great essay in a small amount of time. For math, I learned terms that I need to decode word problems. My score from before definitely improved drastically as much as from a 490 to a 610. I also really liked WaveLength because the instructors were easy to talk to and not intimidating. We not only learned SAT stuff, but life lessons.

Middletown Math Review -DeSanctis

Dear Marlee,

I just wanted to thank you for all the work you did with Grace in preparing her for the reading/writing sections on the SAT. Grace's scores on these 2 sections prior to working with you were 610 in reading and 640 in writing, which were very good scores but she was an A student at High Tech High School and she felt she needed to do better to have any chance of being accepted into any of the top colleges in the country. After working for a total of 7 sessions that lasted 2 hours each her scores jumped to a 740 in reading and 720 in writing.

That is an amazing accomplishment and we couldn't be more proud of her. Grace is our youngest so we have had experience with other SAT prep companies before finding yours and I can say without a doubt that working with you was by far the best experience.

You were able to tailor her classes to the areas that she needed help in rather than following a set plan so there was no wasted time. Classes were scheduled around her free time and with playing High School in addition to club soccer that was a challenge. She didn't need to sit through Math review courses that she didn't need simply because that was the way other companies ran their review courses. We were able to choose only reading/writing, however if she had needed math help I know your company also offered that option. I highly recommend Wavelength SAT to anyone considering SAT tutoring!

Common errors -Moldaver

Marlee and Matt have a unique approach to teaching the SAT by taking common errors and tricks and applying them to the questions. I definitely saw my scores get better in such a short amount of time (especially critical reading). They make the test less stressful by teaching a simple way to approach each question. Marlee really helped me improve on my weak areas and get even better at what I was good at. She is incredibly knowledgeable and does a great job conveying a huge knowledge base to us. The Skinny helps immensely, and I learned a lot from both classes.

Dream schools -Rogers

As parents we want the best for our children and agonize over decisions that impact their education and shape their future. The college application process is the pinnacle of parental and student angst. But what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be and can actually be stress free and enjoyable for you and your child? Or that the SAT’s and other standardized testing can be mastered and your student will come to view these tests as a competition between themselves and the test makers? Sounds crazy, right? Well it’s not. I can honestly say through personal experience with my son and his friends that it is all possible with the help and guidance of WaveLength tutoring.

WaveLength tutors are professional, reliable, knowledgeable and extremely dedicated to the success of your child. The instructors got to know each students strengths and weaknesses through laid back conversations which enabled them to customize their individual programs. The tutor’s enthusiasm for the material made each session interesting and stimulating and left the students wanting for more. I was most impressed by their encouragement to the students to expand their preconceived notions of themselves and their abilities. It gave each of them the confidence to do extremely well on the standardized testing and to also reevaluate their college application choices to include their dream schools as attainable goals.

I wholeheartedly support and recommend Wavelength’s techniques, strategies and approach to the SAT’s and college application process. The company and instructors far exceeded all my expectations. I truly believe that if your student puts in the work that Wavelength’s program requires then they will be successful in their academic pursuits. My son and his friends are living proof and were all accepted to their number one school choices. As for my son, I am proud to say he was accepted early action to Yale College. He was also the recipient of an academic ROTC scholarship from the US Navy which provides 4 years full tuition and enables him to graduate Yale as an officer in the US Navy. I am eternally grateful for the guidance and support that Wavelength provided during my son’s journey in accomplishing his academic goals and dreams.

Amazing teachers -Naqvi

Taking this SAT class really helped me a lot. I now know so much more about the SAT than I did before. Both Marlee and Matt are amazing teachers and are really good at what they do! Over the course of these past six weeks, I've learned so much about the test, how it is scored, what skills it tests, etc. I think the guidance I needed for the SAT I got because of Wavelength.

Now I know what I should do to raise my score! :)

Gain points -Maiden

I had a wonderful experience with WaveLength. The SAT Math class was very one-on-one, and I learned how to think about the SAT in a way I could not have learned through a book alone. Matt was extremely knowledgeable about the SAT and was a great teacher overall. The class was challenging in that we were always expected to perform at our best, but Matt’s high expectations of us were what made me improve so much. My first SAT Math score from after the class was a 720. I finished with an 800! I would definitely recommend WaveLength tutoring to anyone looking to learn how to not just gain points, but how to really know the SAT and how to be prepared for every question on the test.

Lessons -Roberts

Marlee Napurano and Matthew Makrinos have changed my life. I always classified myself as a hard working student, but I never saw myself as smart. It was not until I met Matt and Marlee did I realize my capabilities.

The SAT is a funny thing. It is a test given to us on one Saturday morning where we are expected to perform at our best for four hours straight and yield a score of four perfect numbers- talk about a pressure cooker. My struggle with the SAT was not the material on the test itself, but with the mindset I brought to the test. I would enter the test room and think of my future and not the test before me. This mentality caused my scores to serve as a poor reflection of my comprehension of the material. I took out my frustration by forcing myself to take practice tests every week and sometimes twice in one week.

Marlee and Matt are not only the most interesting, impressive, intelligent, and inspirational people I have ever met, but also the most insightful. Matt and Marlee soon recognized my inefficient study habits. My way of absorbing information had hurt me rather than helped me. I had to re-evaluate and change who I was and how I learned. This was no small feat.

I can honestly state that without Matt and Marlee I would not be the scholar or the person I am today. I learn because I am curious and not because I need a 2400 (although it would be nice). Wavelength never failed to remind me of the bigger picture- my life and all of the tremendous things I would accomplish. Without their constant encouragement and support to guide me through not only this SAT process, but also my educational career I would not be the confident, smart, and empowered young woman that I am today.

Yes, Wavelength is a phenomenal tutoring and test prep program. That is evident with my 370-point jump on my SATs and a score I am so proud of, but Wavelength gives one so much more than that. Marlee and Matt have provided me with lessons and ways of approaching not only the test but also life, which I will always carry with me.

NJ SAT classes Monmouth County -Haney

I completely underestimated how awesome and helpful these SAT classes would be, especially where math is concerned (just because I’m already pretty solid in english). Thank you so much Matt and Marlee! I’m really bad at writing these things, but suffice to say that you guys have definitely been a positive thing in my life.
